I ordered the Seeds for my Sister, she has a Farm and likes to grow all kinds of Fruits and Vegetables. The Seeds were Planted indoors in Planting Trays with good quality Soil. If you live in a Cold area the Seeds can be Planted indoors or Greenhouse 6 to 8 weeks before Planting outdoors, Plant with the point of the Seed pointing up, that is how my sister does it. You should water the Seeds well but not too wet, spraying with warm water is the best. Place the trays or pots in a warm area 80 degrees during the day, a Greenhouse is ideal but a Sunny countertop will work as well. We cover the containers with plastic wrap to create a Greenhouse like environment for the SeedsThe Seeds Germinated Beautifully after 7 to 10 days and they should be transplanted outdoors in an area of the Garden with plenty of Sunshine. Aerate the soil with a Rake, removing all debris, the ground should free of stones, breaking up large clumps of packed earth and remove any vegetative matter or deeply incorporate it into the soil. The Seedlings are ready to be transplanted when they have reached a Height of 4 to 6 inches and have several leaves on them and after the Last Frost Date in your Area, average Planting Dates: 3/1 5/1Adding equal parts of Loam and Sand to the soil is beneficial since Watermelons enjoy Rich Loamy Soil. Space the Seedlings after thinning, keep the strong Plants. Using a Hoe, form Mounds of earth, Small Hills, space these 5 to 7 feet apart depends on the amount of space you have at your place. Building the Soil Up as you making the Mounds helps assure that the Soil is loose enough for the Roots of the Plants to grow, allows oxigen to them and lets excess moisture drain away from direct contact with the Roots of your Plants. You should Plant the Seedlings 3 to 4 feet apart on top of the MoundsWatermelons are sensitive to Fertilizer Burn, mix Commercial ones well before applying and be Sparing, we like to use Natural Fertilizers without Chemicals, after all we like to eat the Watermelons free of any foreign substances. Watch out for the Cucumber Beetle, this Pest loves Watermelons. Other Pests include Aphids and Mites. If you have Wild Rabbits at your Place, Beware! They will Devour your Sweet Delicious WatermelonsThe Watermelons will form vines spreading up to 10 feet long and they will need plenty of room to grow. Adding Mulch around the Plants will help retain moisture and heat close to the Roots of the Plants thus helping them to thrive and Produce Healthy Fruit. After the Flowers Bloom water approximately every 3 days if dry, however, don't over-water, as Watermelons have a low water requirement. keep the Foilage and Fruit Dry, you can place Fruit onto a clean piece of wood or Garden Tiles, that is what we use to keep the Melons away fron the Soil and Clean. On very Hot days the leaves will probably Wilt even in moist soil, if this Limpness can still be seen in the evening after a Hot day, Water DeeplyWeed regularly, be sure to weed around the base of the Plants along and ahead of the vines, you can apply a Commercial Black Fabric to the ground, they serve as durable weed barriers and the Watermelon vines and Fruit can grow on top away from the Soil and Bugs. The Watermelons begin to mature in 90 to 100 days after Planting the seeds. Melons are ready to Harvest when they are Heavy and Rich in Color, they weigh 25 pounds and up. Their Rinds are light Green in Color with Dark Green Stripes. Sweetness in Watermelons can be increased by holding off watering for a week or two prior to Harvest, however, don't do this if it causes the vines to Wilt.Once the Crop is Harvested, restore the usual watering to enable the second Crop to come through well, in perfect conditions Watermelons will mature to full sweetness in about 3 to 4 months of Warm Weather. To Harvest cut the Watermelons cleanly from the vine with a knife or Garden Shears. To test the ripeness of the Melons, Thump it, with your hand, if a dull noise sounding back means that it has ripened, also check the underside, it is ready when it has turned from White to Pale Yellow. The seeds arrived as expected in a little sealed pouch. There were at least 50 seeds, if not more, as advertised. I put them in a wet napkin inside a ziplock bag and placed them on the window sill before a long busy weekend. 5 days later, most of them sprouted already. I planted them all and hopeful they will all grow quickly!

Surprised at how quickly they germinated. Maybe its Texas ir my soil prep. Was expecting germination in 7-10 days and they popped from the ground on day three.

I counted the seeds and there were only about 97 and a few were broken seeds. Not a major issue but usually other seed companies include 5 or 10 more seeds because not all seeds are perfect. I picked out 12 of the best seeds and planted them. 11 out of the 12 seeds sprouted. Not bad, but these were 12 of the best looking seeds. We will see how the others do. Overall they sprouted and we will see in the summer the quality of melon they produce but just wish all the seeds were good or at least if they included a few extra to take into consideration some bad ones. I probably would still buy these seeds in the future and might update the review once they grow and ripen.

Good quantity of seeds,the seeds sprouted about seven days after sowing. I’m using grow lights to facilitate the process.

Did not grow whatso ever, even a bit ! disappointed
