Another awesome book in an unconventional series
I've enjoyed this whole series, and this book was no exception. Our 3 main characters have built up their relationship over the events of the first books, and now they continue building the emotional connection as they can communicate more clearly. The author's sense of humor is always fun, and all 3 MCs have different but complimentary personalities. I've enjoyed the twist from other alien romances where the aliens are physically different from humans in significant ways, and how the aliens end up almost worshiping their human lover. Also, the communication struggle the MCs go through not knowing each other's languages seems more realistic than aliens with telepathic abilities. We also spend some time this book learning more about side characters, hopefully for future books in the series. This book had a good balance of action and sweet interludes, and a very satisfying ending - if you haven't started the series yet, I'd definitely recommend picking up the first and reading through, you'll be hooked!

Wonderful series continues with one complaint
I really like this series, I really love these characters except for, sadly, the titular character, Pykh. Every single time I see a chapter is going to be in Pykh's POV, I cringe. Mainly because Pykh is turning into such a tool - apparently that's his character development. He's constantly just thinking about how much he wants to dominate the other characters and get his way and do whatever he thinks is best and honestly it's very tiring. My favorite scene with him was in an earlier book, when Siel tail-whips Pykh as punishment since Carter can't - finally Pykh was going to learn his lesson and shape up. But no, that was shortlived. Then I got excited in this book when (even though I don't usually care for switching scenes) Carter teaches Pykh a lesson about calling his **** little by topping him - but no, that didn't stick either, and Pykh kept doing whatever he wanted afterwards, including continuing to use that term without any punishment. It's just tiring because I love every single other character and I love the universe this is set in. I hope Pykh improves in the next novel, because I might just start skipping his POV chapters if he doesn't.

Great and imaginative sci-fi M/M/M romance
I really love this series. It's probably my favorite M/M/M just because the three characters are so fleshed out and interesting, while also being deeply devoted to each other. The good? If you like alien/human sci-fi romance series like Lyn Gala's Claimings series, then this is an easy rec. Glass' style is similar where she mixes some very interesting world-building while also including romance (and sexy times.)The mutual devotion between Carter (the human) and the fleaf'akhie (cat) men Siel and Pykh is...addicting. They're all capable men with their own motivations and histories and are really into each other, which is just nice to read. The cultural differences between them (and even between Siel and Pykh, since Pykh had a different upbringing) are interesting and often funny as they work to sort them out and understand each other. As this is the third book in the series, the conflict is mostly external- the three men and their relationship are not at risk, but there are external risks towards them and their hope for a future together. The bad? The author definitely needs a copy-editor to pick up errors. There's a bunch throughout. I turned on my "fanfic reading brain" which allows me to slide over them pretty easily. Because I was enjoying the story so much, I pretty much forgive small errors. I would rather have the book with typos than not have it all.Even with the editing issues, which pushed me to read this with my "fanfic brain", I ADORED this series- I loved the character depth that is explored, the love and devotion that is shared between the main characters, the interesting (and dangerous) world that they live in, and the humor (and sexy times) that often lace their interactions. Is there Mpreg? Well, the fleaf'akhie society is born out of male pregnancy so, that's the eventual endgame. I'm not a big mpreg reader, but I'll still read the next (and last) book as I just dig the characters and would love to revisit them.Does this end well? Yes. For the nervous romance reader, this has a solid HFN ending, and could be left as HEA if you don't want to read the next/last section that will include mpreg.Props to the author for creating such an addicting, thoughtful, and sexy series with wonderful and empathetic characters.

Great sci-fi romance, 4.5 stars!
I've spent the past week rereading the first two books in the Pykh series to refresh my mind before diving into this one. And boy, I do love to spend time in this sci-fi world again! The writing really works for me. It's like I'm right there with them on this exotic and strange planet when I read. I love the storytelling, and adore the trio of very different personalities that somehow are just right for each other. The previous books were shorter and more action packed compared to this third instalment. Carter, Siel and Pykh are at The Muds, a military outpost and finally able to communicate in the same language. They get some well deserved time to kick back and relax—and yup, lots of sexy times—getting to know each other all over again. But soon civilization knocks on their door, because Carter's existence the first human on this alien planet is of interest to the local powers that be.The storyline involves quite a bit of political strategies, perhaps a tad more than what I'd ideally like, but the battle scene in the second half provides a good adrenaline rush as a balance. Same thing with the chapters in the POV of Auk. I strongly disliked him in the previous book, and it took me almost to the end of this one to warm up to him. There at the end, I actually started to like the old grump and look forward to see him in the next and final instalment of the series. Along with Affek, Teal, Ov'ielk and the growing hoard of Fleaf'akhie warriors I've come to like and care about.

Hooked from book one, It keeps getting better and better
When I first started this series on a whim, I did not anticipate how much I would enjoy it... but here I am shipping them, eagerly awaiting the next book in this series ! This has so much dept, the world is rich and interesting, I love the complexity of the story and the politics. Of course I am also a huge fan of our favourite trio of lovers, I just cannot wait for the fourth installment in the series to be out !I love the alien races, how even though they had difficulties (to put it mildly) communicating it did not stop them from getting attached and making meaningful connections to one another. I love how our main human omega character is this badass takes no bullshit kind of guy ready to defend his men to his last breath.Read this series, ignore the ugly covers, these books are so much more than their ugly covers !Bookarina

What's this? Sexy men AND plot?!!
I'm a sucker for sci-fi, but a comprehensive, well written series like this just makes me feel spoiled. Complex characters in this genre are hard to come by so I was thrilled to find so many of them. Often the emphasis in these sorts of books is the sex but here, while those scenes are certainly lovely bits, there's an underlying interesting plot moving the story forward.
