Three year old loves the expandable ladder, and lights. The siren is not irritating and just right. It is sturdy medal and great easy size to handle for him taking with him. He loves it!

I went to NYC on business and told my 3 year old I’d bring something back for him. After seeing similar product prices at $30+ dollar in mid town, I opted for Amazon. My wife held the package until I returned to the property and my son loves it!

Cool fire truck, good size and realistic sound. However, there are many plastic parts and some of them broke on the first day. It doesn't make the toy look less attractive to my kid, since his was only 17-month old when he got it for Christmas. But I never let him play with it without supervision.

I'm sure it'd be fine for most kids (but probably annoying for most parents). My toddler, however, was terrified of the sound. It's kinda loud, so the toy just didn't last in our house.

My 3-year-old great grandson loves this toy. The lights light up and the siren sounds. The ladder extends out to 3 times its length. I did have a little trouble pushing it back in until I learned that the concave (hollow) side has to be on top and the pushing has to be gentle. Even he can do it now. The doors open and close. It only takes a little bit of backward traction to get it going. This toy was a bargain at this price.Update, November 2016. This toy has held up through repeated use. It still works perfectly and is his favorite toy.

I let a child play with the toy for one second and the lights and ladder went flying when it bumped the wall. Poor quality for child’s play, unsafe for under 3 because of choke able parts.

My son got this for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. Figuring out the siren was a little tricky, but all you have to do is pull the tab under the ladder, put the truck on a flat surface and press down on the cab. He has been playing with it since he got it about three hours ago. He was thrilled that the ladder extended so far. Great product.

I couldn't have picked a more perfect truck for my 2 year old! Fits easily in his hands & he's obsessed with it. It's sturdier than I expected. The expanding ladder comes apart easily but I think it'd be prone to breaking if it didn't do that. It's really easy to pop it back together. My son even dropped it in a tub full of water and luckily the sirens and noise still work perfectly. It fits in with the rest of his 1:32 scale pull back cars.
