What a beautiful presented notebook.I love the little box case it comes in.Pages are numbered. 100gsm ivory (off white) paper.Pen loop and elastic.2 page markers.Clearly this company cares about the quality of their products.Can’t wait to start journaling in it.Although it’s a bullet journal, with a space for “keys” and index, I intend to use it as a Magic Mornings journal. I will try to add photos when it is full! :)

The media could not be loaded.  B6 is the perfect size for on the go, dropping into a handbag or backpack taking barely any space. This is one of the vintage STM journals and as such has 100gsm paper instead of the newer 120gsm paper, but if you are okay with a little ghosting (which is very minor- you can see from my video) then this is a perfect choice.The beauty of a bullet journal is that it can be anything you want. As someone who lives with chronic illness, I like to spend some time on mine and make it more artistic than some do, but that doesn't mean you have to. If you subscribe to the way ryder caroll sets up and minimalism is your style then this journal will still work for you.The pages are marked with half way marks on the side (not on top and bottom due to the number of dots) and because of that it is really easy to set your layouts up. If you like to have an index, this journal comes with 4 or 5 pages worth (I covered mine up as I work chronologically and don't use them). There is also a pen loop that is riveted in rather than just glued and the elastic holds a variety of pens in different thicknesses. Mine also came with a STM 0.4mm black fineliner which is perfect on the paper.The cover is durable and easy to wipe clean with an elastic that holds the journal closed when not in use.Definitely five stars (it isn't the first I've had and won't be the last either).

These are my 'go-to' bullet journals. I'm not (shock horror) a died in the wool bullet journal follower... but these are one of the best journals I've found. Dots aren't so in your face that they dominate, but equally are not so hidden you can't find them. Page weight is absolutely brilliant - you won't get bleed through with majority of pens/inks (manga/alcohol based ones will bleed through so be careful!). Diary sits flat so ideal for note taking. The pages are really well threaded together - I've never had any issues with lose pages. Great pocket in the back for storing stuff and having two page markers is a bonus. I've tried A5 and A4 sized journals with different providers, but this B5 one I think is absolutely brilliant if you need a bit more space (e.g. for work / projects) as A4 is just too big and awkward and A5 isn't quite big enough (great for personal stuff). Having different colours is also great - I use different colours for different tasks so I can keep work / different projects / personal clear. The only additional I'd want at all (and it's no biggie) is to get a pen with the diary...

scribbles that matter are a fantastic company,I found out about them from following Caitlin’s corner on YouTube. I plan to use it to help organise my next academic year.I am not good at identifying sizes and thought I purchased two B6’s, my lavender one i found out is A5, I’m very happy with the lavender one.The customer service team helped me understand how to tell sizes and are sending me another teal one as A5 because of the mix up.I am very grateful to the scribbles that matter team for their kind and supportive customer service, the quality of the journals is the best I’ve ever seen and they always come with a fine liner pen, which is a lovely touch10/10 highly recommend

Everything about this book shouts quality. It arrived well packaged but both the outer box and the journal are shrink wrapped so they should rethink the use of plastic. The black box however is thick and sturdy board and if the journal was being given as a gift, it really elevates the overall look. After removing the plastic, the thing that struck me most was the feel of the journal, it’s not at all like the other STM journals that I’ve had. Don’t get me wrong, I like the feel of those, but this one is something else. I just wanted to keep stroking it. It’s soft and silky and looks so much like real leather. The pages are the quality you expect from STM, ruled and numbered, a couple of contents pages but sadly no pen test page (that’s my only criticism) with the usual feature of a bookmark (only 1) and the back pocket. I usually use a STM dotted for bullet journaling and bought this specifically as a recipe journal I’d really love them to bring out this cover finish in dotted and an array of colours!

I love scribbles that matter. Such high quality. This was no exception. Great sturdy design, hardback cover, very light dot grid, numbered pages. I got the 100GSM as I need less durable paper for a general notebook for school. My only gripe is the ivory paper. It's at least ivory not cream so it's not tooooo bad, but I would prefer to have an option to buy white pages! Anyway, even with the ivory I highly recommend STM in general. Oh! also, the journal arrived in a damaged parcel... thankfully STM have a hard box for their journals, so despite the awful delivery, my journal was snug and safe, well packaged inside.

I like the B5 size but the paper is very yellow (but bear in mind that I usually use bright white paper - and I am comparing this paper to my favorite - Nagivator 90gsm Expression paper).also, I would question the fact that this is a 100GSM paper (it just doesn't feel like any 100gsm paper I use) but it is smooth paper and it works well with Pilot Frixion pens (which wont bleed through this paper)overall I will use this one but won't be buying another one (not at this price GBP 24.90).also my notepad came with a fine liner pen... so that was a nice touch...hope that is helpful to someone.
