It holds my bed together well! Everything sits nice and flush. The only downside is I wish there were a way it could lock in better. I can’t lift up the side of the bed for any ready without the bed rail coming off which i don’t love. But it works as described and I haven’t had any issues with creaking yet!

Great solution
These worked perfect for our bed frame. Heavy duty and have been on for about three years now.

Screws not long enough to hold in a 2x4.
This rail bracket was pretty stable, though not rock solid so there was a little play in the frame.I built a 2 x 4 frame for camp mattresses, and while carrying the frame one side fell and all the screws stripped out. You'll need to get longer replacement screws to use it with softwood.
