Minimizes cribbing by up to 90%!
I've owned an OTTB chestnut mare for over 8 yrs. She's not a destructive cribber, more of a wind sucker (even when out in the pasture.) Her previous owner used an older traditional cribbing strap that was completely ineffective. Since the Weaver Miracle Collar had good reviews, I gave it a try. It worked instantly and stopped her cribbing. I just ordered my 2nd collar since the first one wore out from weathering after 8 yrs. Here's a few tips I've learned over the years:1) Keep the head area cleaned daily by grooming. I live in sandy climate and the sand gets under the collar and causes irritation.2) Keep the collar well conditioned and clean every day.3) I find it's more effective by rotating the collar off and on with my mare. I will leave it on her for 5-7 days and then remove it for 24hrs or so. This gives her a break and then seems to be more effective when I put it back on. I have tried the fleece covers, but they get dirty quickly in my sandy terrain. Clinical studies show that nothing stops cribbing 100%, but this product is very effective when properly used.

Good quality and effective
Excellent quality. Stopped my horse from cribbing. I can even take it off for a day or two and he won't start cribbing until the 3 day with it off - that all depends on your horse though.

Worth a try
Decent quality, but didn’t work for my horse, but no collar has stopped her from cribbing.

It works! Except, I have both of the straps behind my horses ears because Iwasnt sure if it would rub his forlock off (and I wasnt willing to test it)... it DOES rub where the bridle path is, but it just makes it so i dont have to keep shaving the bridle path i guess. but he does not crib with it, and the problem that I had with the metal cribbing collars is that the metal part rubbed into his neck from him trying to crib and left raw patches on his skin that turned into white spots. This cribbing collar does not rub on that part of his neck, and unlike the other metal cribbing collar, he physically can not crib.

It has lessened his cribbing but not eliminated it. Not surprised as he has been cribbing for many years - unheeded. I suspect if you begin using this collar at the first sign of cribbing it may cure the habit. Also, the leather is very soft and stretches over time. I bought a large for an average size quarter horse and I'm on the 2nd and 3rd hole from the top. I started around 4.

Got for my cribber it worked, but too much pressure on her head
I don't like these collars because they put pressure on the horses head, and it didn't last long, I switched to the collar that only has one strap and it's the best thing I've ever bought. Comfortable for the horse and works. This needs to be tight & fits just a little too tight with the 2nd strap around the head.. the metals bits holding it together just couldn't hold it very well either.

It fits with a little help
Had to pop new holes in for my mini but as the last one was damaged - completely my fault while it was off the horse- I had to purchase a new one.It does fit, not rubbing, he's worn it now for weeks.

Cribbing collar
Product is OK, price is too much. I found the same thing at tractor supply for half the cost.
