Essentials of Health Policy and Law: . (Essential Public Health) 2nd Edition

I took a Health Policy class, last semester at the University, and we used this book. It was easy to understand, comprehensive, and included all of the latest Affordable Care Act information. I highly recommend it for the beginning Health Policy or Public Health student.

I had to buy this book for a class as well. I admit I learned more about health policy from this book than I did from the course or the professor.

Considering the dense subject, the text does a good job of explaining things in a way that makes sense. A little dry but that's to be expected. Good look into the ACA.

I realized after purchasing that some of the tables/figures were blocked due to copyright. Yay American copyright laws. However if you are taking this class through a university with access to their online library, it should be possible to search for the original article referenced in this textbook. A few tables/figures missing should hopefully not cause a crisis. You can do it!

I purchased this book for my graduate class. The book is interesting and the chapters are not excessively long.

Fabulously easy to read (this coming from some one who doesn't know anything about health law or policy). Laid out well. Logical progression.

Very clear, concise, and an easily understandable read. This book did not waste time with unnecessary subject matter or lengthy discussions. To the point!

The book is self explanatory and well detailed. All relevant information were found in each chapter. It is a very good source of reference.
