It’s war
Lost an entire strawberry patch to vine weevil larvae and those plants are pretty much indestructible normally. will treat whole garden when the soil warms up a little. used in the past worked well.

Straightforward to use.
You mix it with water and pour it onto your pots. Is it effective? Who can say. Without emptying the pots and searching through the compost for the evil little weevils you can't tell. The plants are still alive. The evil little grubs can destroy plants in days. These nematodes seem to keep them under control. Will buy again.

Does the job
Easy to use. One packet has treated several big pots. Its early yet (about a week ago) but I do think there is definitely an improvement in the plants. already. I would definitely use this again.

Well packed, easy to use, not sure it worked
I wasn't quite sure what would arrive as this was my first time using nematodes. The 12sq.m pack contained a sachet of what looked like beige dust. You mix the dust with water and stir it a bit, then pour it onto the earth you're trying to treat. It was easy to apply and clear to understand. I kept the plant well watered as instructed (it rained for the next week!). BUT - I have no way to know if the nematodes are there now. My bay tree (shrub in a tall pot) had an infestation of weevils and in the end I used tweezers to hand pick them off the plant's leaves and crush them. The nematodes may have helped kill a few, but I can't know for sure. (I crushed more than 70 weevils on my plant!) I don't think there is any way to see the nematodes, but I feel happy that they may be there keeping my plant safe.

Seems to work
Seems to work on controlling the weevils. Not sure yet if it will get rid of them completely but we will see. The strawberry plants seems to have flourished and are more abundant than recent years.

doesn't go very far
the claim that one Pack treats 12sqm/210 pots is very misleading. It makes two 6 litre watering cans which would go nowhere near 210 pots before running out. I treated 12 pots and 2 window boxes but I was running out and applying less to make it go further by the second watering can. Which makes it a VERY expensive way of getting rid of vine weevil. I had pots that went untreated because I'd run out of solution.
