LENOX Tubing Cutter, 1/4-to-2-5/8-Inch (21013TC25/8)

I love Lenox. When they make a cutting tool, they don't mess around. This pipe cutter is rock-solid. I've used it on 1/2" to 2-1/2" pipe--cuts everything well. This is the tube cutter you want for a lifetime. My yet unborn grandchildren are likely to be using it.One concern I had was using it with thin-walled PVC pipe of large diameter. This kind of pipe will tend to deform as you tighten the tool. It works fairly well when you are cutting from the middle of the pipe, but the deformation is too much at the end. But I found if I stuck a ring of pipe inside the pipe you were cutting, it would give it the extra support so that you could even clean cut the ends. To do this, take a scrap piece of pipe of the same diameter you are cutting, and then snip out a longitudinal section with a pair of good scissors or tin snips. Then it will squeeze into the pipe you need to cut, and give you the extra support you need.A fast, mean clean cutting machine.

This is a good quality tool. Works as it should.

Worked great. Super easy to use. Had to make straight cuts on curved metal, so the finished product wasn't 100% level, but the feet I got helped level it out.

I’m having to hard fence my property because of a issue I had with my dog and neighbor. Purchased this Lenox tubing cutter at Lowe’s along with the fencing materials. I had my doubts about the cutter working on heavier gage material like chain link fence pipe/tube. This cutter cut through the fence pipe no problem. My fence consists of 2 3/8” main pipe which is what is being cut in the video, 1 5/8” smaller vertical pipe and the 1 3/8” top pipe/rail. It cut all three effortlessly. I did use cutting oil “Tap Magic” as you see in the video. Only problem I had was while cutting a pipe I realized the large bearings/rollers where not rotating they just dragged causing friction and tracking issues. The factory should grease the pins at point of assembly. I ended up squirting some lubricant on the pins best I could. Driving the pins out and greasing them would be better but I was in a hurry. The lubricant fixed the drag issues. I found the tracking can be finicky at times on the largest diameter. Try to press the bearings/rollers to seat them against pipe then clamp cutter. Overall I’m very satisfied with this cutter. Faster and safer then a grinder and way less effort than a hacksaw. Plus gives you a very clean square cut.

Lenox is top of the line when it comes to industrial strength tools. This cutter works great and is made of strong, durable materials. I would recommend this pipe cutter to any serious plumber.

I have used two different tubing cutters General is poor and Rigid is excellent in my 16 years of plumbing. Lenox is new and I enjoy the heavy feel and the smooth cutting action as time will tell I am a big man with heavy hands. I also like the color design it stands out from others working around me.

Forget trying to cut things even with a hack saw and get one of these. We used this to cut the legs on our metal stools and it was super easy. Where have you been all my life.

lenox made quality, this also includes a plastic tubing cutting wheel(under handle) as its larger diameter will be able to penetrate the thicker plastic pipe. cuts both plastic pipe and copper tubing effortlessly
