Olympia stainless steel flatwound electric guitar strings 10-48 gauge

This mist be the second time I've been asked to review these strings and to date, I've never had a dud pack. They're not Chrome's, or Pyramid on any of the other high price akternatives. I've been using them consistently for at least two years. I get a good balance across all the strings. (I know I had to adjust the pole pieces when I got the first pack), but wever since I've had a dependable response that lasts. I'm dreading the time when the proce goes up and you start to pay silly mones for six pieces of wire - but until then they're the most relioable and economic strings on Amazon.

They sound ok, but are a little on the rough side for my liking. Would not buy again. Weill pay more for better quality.

Good strings

Bought these to go on my dirt cheap acoustic with the sole intention of getting rid of string squeak. Worked a treat, no noise at all now. Nice bright sound and made my £69 cheapie sound much better. Very pleased.

Good quality great value for money - sounds great !!

My first time trying flat wounds after using Super Slinkys most of my life . For me their too heavy the top strings only bend so far comfortably so for my style Rhythm/lead their no good, having said that if your playing jazz/Rhythm there very good no squeaks or buzzing super clean but for me no feel and cramps my style. PS on removal the 6th & 5th string snaped when trying to straighten them out too thread through the trapeze.

Very disappointed, I opened the pack only to discover that only 3 strings were packed in the pack of 6 strings I only received the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd strings 😔

I thought these strings may be suspect when considering the price compared to other major manufacturers of similar strings. But I was delighted with them and they seem to perform well. Too early to say if they'll last a long time, but all the indications are good. They sound equally as good as the dearer alternatives so i would buy them again. Lovely smooth action with no noise when sliding your finger along the strings.
