Perfect for bringing Insulin on the airplane.
I had no problem bringing this on the airplane with my insulin. I traveled from the US to UK to Ireland and back and never had a problem bringing it on the plane with me. It freezes solid and feels more like it has metal plates in it than ice. The TSA did not question it at all. When I got to a hotel I would just ask the front desk to put it in the freezer and then I'd put my insulin in the room fridge or in a bucket of ice in my room. It lasts all day packed in my suitcase. I had a digital thermometer with it and it always kept my insulin plenty cool. Neither the inside nor the outside gets wet or damp. It was large enough for a months supply of insulin pens and vials. Its sturdy and very well made. I expect to be using it for many years. I have used it for several day trips as well. It has replaced the insulated lunch bag with ice packs that was my previous go-to case. I have many different insulin cooler cases and this one is by far my favorite. I have tried the Frio cases too and they do seem to maintain room temperature when it gets hot, but they are probably best suited for travel where you will not have access to a freezer. For standard tourist travel, this Fridge to Go case is the best.

This Really Keeps an Insulin Vial cool.
I really researched these insulin pouchs before I bought. My dog is Diabetic and I needed one in case our power went out, for traveling by car or air.It works fantastic! I took it on a trip and it kept his insulin vial cool for 9 hours and was still cool! This really works! It's a little heavier than I thought it would be but worth it. It is a little heavy due to the high quality materials used to keep it cool. These are actually have been sewn inside of the material. All you do is put the whole product with its traveling case over it to keep it clean in the freezer all of the time.Do NOT put the insulin in the freezer with it. When you are ready to leave, remove it from the traveling pouch and put the insulin vials in the container and close the box. You are set to go! It has room for the some insulin needles to. But bring extras in a separate container depending how many you will need.I'm extremely happy with this product, glad I choose one that really works.A+++++++Love it!!

Superior materials and workmanship. Great product that I imagine will last many years if not my lifetime!
Very nice quality and superior materials and workmanship. This has the cooler packs embedded in the product and the quality is unbelievable. Highly recommend this product for those who need a cooler for injections to travel. This vendor is very professional and went above and beyond the current level of customer service that we expect to help me get this product.3/19/2017- I have now had to use this and I'm so ridiculously pleased with this product! Really nice compartments for needle caps and a second pen, but the best thing is the cooling packs that are sewn into the unit. They kept my medicine cool for the entire day I was out and probably would have even lasted overnight...they were that cool! I am a RN and I take medication protection seriously and this was purchased for a injectable pen for a clinical trial I am in that tells me if the medication gets to room temperature, I must dispose of it, which could be a loss of 2 weeks worth of this very expensive medication. Thank you GetBacktoBasix for offering a superior product!

Great Travel Cooling Wallet for Growth Hormone
Excellent Cooling Wallet! We use it to keep growth hormone at refrigerator temperature while traveling or out and about. The longest we have used it is 5 hours with an outside temperature of about 100*. The internal cooling pouches were still solid, although they did not feel quite as firm as they did when I first took it out of the freezer The medication was definitely still refrigerator-cold and likely would have been for several more hours. This wallet does exactly what I need!So why not 5 stars?-the growth hormone pen fits perfectly in the pen slots, but the cartridges fall right out of the cartridge/vial holders. Those need a better design.(I make it work by not usually needing a second cartridge with me and when I do, I just put it up in the zippered compartments)-Pen needles don't fit well - Yes, they officially fit in the zippered part, but they don't fit well and the stress makes it appear like the mesh will tear. I have no desire for it to tear, so no pen needles in here for us. I just pack a ziptop baggie with pen needles, alcohol swabs, and bandaids. (Yes, my kid is still at the "I-need-a-bandaid-every-time-I-get-a-shot" stage) and throw it inside the outer bag that comes with the Cooling Wallet. It would be nice if there was an outside pocket that fit those things.-the outer bag is beginning to fall apart. We've had the wallet for 2.5 months. It lives in the freezer and is taken out and used about 1x per week. If we go somewhere on the weekend, that number can go as high as 3x. The outer bag isn't fully shredded yet, but i don't expect it to last much longer. That is disappointing. I had originally expected it to last at least a year if not longer under the type of use a diabetic would put it to, which is much more frequent than our use (since our shot is only a 1x daily shot and we can arrange our lives to give the shot at home MOST of the time).Overall - Awesome Cooling Features. Does its cooling job superbly. Some of the accessories and internals need some work to make it perfect. However, as is, it will still do the job and do it well. It will keep your medications cold when you are out and about.

To big and cumbersome
Like the case but it’s too large.
