These natural sea sponge's from Lather are great. I'm used to using a mildly abrasive mesh shower puff, so this took a few days to get used to. It's incredibly soft and glides over your skin like silk with a nice gentle exfoliating property. In fact, it's so soft that you probably won't even realize how well it cleans and revitalizes skin until you start getting compliments from friends and family on how much better your overall complexion looks. The rich lather that it creates from ANY soap or body wash is unbelievable. I use Dove Visible Care Toning body wash along with this sea sponge and it's almost like showering with body lotion. Can't say enough good things about it! The sponge can be a little difficult to rinse and dry completely at first because they retain so much soap. But as with any new experience, you'll get it down to your own science after a few uses and will think nothing of it.As a personal side note; I like to shower with Dial Gold Antibacterial Body Wash with this sponge about once a week to ensure it gets 100% cleansed of any odor causing bacteria or dead skin that I may have missed from rinsing it out in the days prior. Sea sponges are extremely efficient at filtering dead skin and impurities by nature, so the Antibacterial wash is just something of personal preference and absolutely not necessary to maintain cleanliness. I've used natural sea sponges in the past and I'm particularly impressed with the quality of this wool sponge from Lather. This has been a regular part of my showering routine for about 2 months now and there are no signs of deterioration except for a little fade in color. Most (and often times more expensive) natural sea sponge's that I've used in the past start to fall apart around the 2 week mark with regular use and reduced to shreds on my shower floor within a month. Nice natural sea sponge. Softens up when wet. I find that I can reach my back with ease. Will buy again.

Soft natural sponge that really lathers.

These must be the softest sea sponges on the planet! The "wool" part is not overstated. They do feel like wool/cotton, truly impressive. Also, the size is quite impressive. At least twice that of a common bath sponge. I took one star off because it does not scrub as well as a regular sea sponge... and that is because of how soft these sponges get when they are wet! It may be a plus for some folks, especially for the elderly or to use on very young children, but not for me. I do like the little extra scrub of a regular sea sponge. But, with that said, this is an amazing sea sponge, and probably the softest thing you can find. It also seems quite durable, since it is very tightly meshed (for lack of a more scientific word).

Piece of garbage! Fell apart in less than 30 days. It was bleached and they used glue on it. The pieces of sponge kept falling off down my drain. Do not waist your money! Go for unbleached sea sponge. Money waisted! Lesson learned!

Best body sponge I’ve purchased. Does not fall apart and lathers nicely.

I have been looking for a soft sponge for soooo long. And when I say soft, I mean that I wanted something really, really soft. I love all types of sponges to wash with, even synthetic, but it is difficult to find something that meets my needs when it comes to softness! I'm very picky! I was told over and over again that the natural sponges are the best and the softest so I bought my first one a few months ago. I bought a nice big one that I thought would be wonderful, BUT...I was extremely disappointed. Even after soaking it in warm water and baking soda (like they tell you to do with a new natural sponge) I used it and it wasn't soft at all and it barely held my body wash! I told myself that natural sponges were not for me. Then I saw this one and I read all of the reviews about how soft and amazing it was so I figured....ok let's give it one more try for $18...plus this one is wool, which the first one wasn't. I am EXTREMELY happy that I bought this and I would never buy another brand of natural sponge again. This will be the ONLY brand I'll buy. These things are ridiculously soft (way softer than I even expected), they lather and hold body wash really well, they rinse out easily...they're just absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for changing my mind about using natural sponges!!!

Not very good. Would not purchase it. Definitely not worth the price
