Excellent product. I use it every day when I blow-dry my hair. It leaves my hair beautiful, soft, shiny, and frizz-free.

Oh my gosh, I am so happy with this product! I haven’t blow dryed my hair save for a couple times in some 20 years or so, but I started washing my hair at nighttime and going to bed with soaking wet hair isn’t great. I have super thick hair down to my waist and it takes forever to dry by any method, but in the past I’ve just never found a blow drying routine that worked well. I’m super picky with hair products and hate being able to feel any kind of residue on it; the only thing I tend to use in it is a lightweight shine serum and it took so much trial and error to find one I loved. Since I wanted to start blow drying my hair, I needed a heat protectant and I was very pessimistic about finding a good product given my past experiences with them- so much can go wrong! It can be too heavy, too fragranced, and sin of sins- leave a sticky or otherwise discernible residue when the hair is dry. I’m so happy to have picked this blow dry cream as a heat protectant- it’s freaking fantastic and checks all my boxes! It has a lightweight lotion-like texture, pleasant and not overpowering scent that dissipates, is undetectable on dry hair, adds some shine and softness, shortens dry time...all at less than $5. I’m not very talented at all with my blow dryer and I can do a blowout that rivals the salon, so I’d say it’s very easy to use as well. I use a little less than 2 quarter sized dollops worked through 50-75% dry hair from the ends up, and it takes 10-15 minutes to get my massive mop of hair dry on warm/medium blow dryer settings. Hair is soft, smooth, shiny and bouncy- and there’s no buildup or need to wash more often than I previously did. I mean it’s too good to be true- I will absolutely repurchase again and again!

** Update- I ordered a second time and it arrived on time, undamaged and this product has proven to be a good staple for when I use heat to style my wet hair. It is an affordable option to include without her products that helps prevent frizz and split ends without weighing my hair down. It doesn't take much and I have a decent amount of hair; if you use the right amount it can last for several months! I ordered this as a recommendation from Amazon when I ordered the Revlon heated/ blowdryer- round brush combo. I have used this L'oreal lotion per the instructions several times and haven't noticed it helping protect my hair from the heat- in fact I'd say my hair feels a bit more brittle at times after drying but I can't attribute it to the products or the tools because they are all new. The lotion areived on time and seemed fine. It has a light scent that disappears quickly. The lotion is not as thick as a gel but more viscous than a conditioning cream. The review asks to possibly mention drying power and sheerness but I don't know how to incorporate this in my review as this isn't described as a sheer drying lotion nor a product to decrease drying time; rather a heat protectant.

I found this right after I purchased another product like this for $23 or $24. Naturally, I canceled that purchase and bought this instead. This stuff saved my hair. I was going to cut it off because I just cannot handle the way it's changed in the last couple years. But after using this after just one wash and dry, I am sold. About two years ago, my hair which has always been wavy but which has had no problem being blow-dried straight became course and frizzy and completely unmanageable. I started using keratin products to straighten my hair and I had to use several products just to get everything tamed enough so that I could style it. I figured growing it out would leave me with more options to tie it back and I was right, but if I didn't blow dry it and style it and use five different products, it was just a gross mess. After using this product tonight, and I only used about a nickel's worth, I have to say that I actually like my hair. It is smooth and soft and has good volume. And I didn't have to fight my hair or spend a lot of time to get it this way. My hair actually cooperated and did what I wanted it to do all along. This stuff is the Cesar Millan of hair products. So thank you, L'Oreal. I would happily pay $25 just because of the efficacy of the product, so this price...it just cannot be beat. Get this. You will like your hair again.

I am obsessed with this product, I’ve been using it for a long time now. I use it after I shower before I blow-dry my hair. It helps me brush through my tangly hair, makes my hair feel insanely soft, and makes it look shiny and healthy. It helps with the frizz for a while throughout the day, not as much as I would hope but still helps. Plus, it smells so good! My boyfriend and family always say I smell good and it’s usually this product that they can smell. Also, it lasts forever. I’m thankful to have found it on Amazon because I can never find it in-store anymore. This product works great to smooth my frizzy hair, however the cost has increased over 600% from the first time I purchased it in 2020 for $3.59! No thanks, L’Oreal. I’ll find another product.

Simplemente lo mejor

I used to dry & style my hair without using any product to protect it from the heat of the dryer....until my sister told me I needed to try something. My hair was all frizzed out and was breaking & just in terrible condition. I looked around and saw this and tried it. Not the most expensive in the world, but I figured I would give it a shot. What a difference! I was actually a little shocked that an inexpensive product could do so much for my hair! I've tried other products, but I always come back to this one. It's effective, no smell at all, and it won't break the bank!! Enough said! Try it! I highly recommend.
