Q: Should I use this before or after I use my trimmer or clippers?

I agree with Anthony - I use it before, during and after. When you first turn your clippers on, listen to the sound of the blades, then hit it with a little of the spray - you will notice a big difference in the sound as the lube gets in and loosens it up.

Q: Do you need the andis oil or can you use this w/o it?

No. This is a lubricant. I have used this product for ten years and never with oil. Still using same clippers as well. Originally recommended by a barber.

Q: Is this good for Braun or Philips electric shavers?

Yes it is good for both electric clippers. It makes the blades stay sharp.
