I got this for a friend of mine who has been having trouble opening gallon water jugs. She has been telling me how much she likes it. And also the other tool she is using to open cat food cans, which has been hard for her to do because of arthritis in her hand and wrist. So all in all, I think this is a pretty good deal.

This is one of those stupid little kitchen gadgets I don't think anyone can live without. Easy to use, so handy to open bottles that are really tight since I never picked up my gym membership again after COVID. I bought another a couple of years back - and apparently, our house was burgled, and the ONLY thing they took was that bottle opener. Much more useful than the silver. Love it!Maybe the dogs thought it was a toy and buried it, or it will turn up under a couch if we ever move, but no worries - you can't have too many of these things.

I previously had a bottle/jar opener like the one with different size openings. After many years, the grippy plastic inside started pulling out. After gluing it 3 times, I decided it was time for a new one. This new one is harder to use due to the curves at the bottom, which dig into my hands if using the smallest hole. My old one was straight at the bottom. The smaller white tool is wonderful at opening soda bottle caps.

I bought this for my elderly mother who has arthritis. I showed her the various ways it can be used. She didn’t use it while I was visiting so I am not sure about how successful it will be.

I bought this for my mother-in-law who is 81 years old who cannot open her protein shakes or her Propel bottles. She loves it. It opens jars and bottles with ease. Even the most difficult tight bottles open right up. Highly recommend good price

We always had a metal jar opener in the house when I was growing up. It had a hinge on the top and would open so far that the "jar opening" section would hit itself on the opposite side. As a result, you could put on just about any jar size as long as you could grip the two side to get a jar open. It seems as if they don't make those anymore. Instead, what I noticed is that they are all like this heavy plastic design that barely open up any further than the hole that you see. The handles are so thick that they are hard to use on a small to medium sized jar (picture a relish sized jar) to get the proper grip. As I am getting older and having problems with gripping, not good. If I could find a metal one like the one from my childhood, I would pay the price. You could open just about anything with that thing. This is good for soda sized lids and very small jars. Not much else. Not worth it. If my husband hadn't thrown away all of the packaging and already tried using it a number of times, I would have returned it.

Both my husband and I suffer from arthritis and we just can’t get jars open any longer. This is a life saver. Love it!

Not worth the money. If you can’t open a jar, you will not be able to use this. Very hard to put on jar and turn. Battery operated one would be preferable, if its exists.
