One of the better ones
I've used & tried many protein powders over the years. I'm one of those people with an extremely sensitive gut and haven't been able to digest more than 60% of the products that I've tried. The reason being all the additives, artificial sweeteners, sugars and other loads of artificially processed chemicals/products to enhance the taste or the nutrition value. To make matters worse, whey is being derived out of nutritionally enhanced & processed milk with use of GMOs and load of other garbage. What all this is doing to the health people is probably beyond the scope of this discussion.I'm a fairly experienced body-builder following a pretty strict diet regimen and lift weights 5 days a week. I don't believe in putting a bunch of chemicals in my body for muscle growth and have long term side-effects like ED, stomach issues, balding etc. I've been an off & on vegetarian too which called for a need for protein supplement. I've been using Biochem whey for about 2 years now and I go through about 2-3 cans every month. Here are some of the areas where this product stands out from others in its league:-Natural whey (when they say it, they mean it), free of any growth hormones-No added sugars & fat free, so no extra carbs which means you only get what you need-No artificial flavors, chemicals or any garbage that is not meant for ingestion by human body-Natural flavor (what I use) is almost tasteless, so it makes a great protein additive without altering the taste of the beverage in pretty much anything - smoothies, yogurt, milk, almond milk..-One of the easily mixing protein powders that I've usedSome of the downsides of the product:-People who are used to bottled protein supplements like muscle milk which is loaded with sugars and other stuff and associate those tastes/sugars with protein shakes may not like the taste on this one because it practically doesn't have a taste-Its one of the more expensive protein powders (per oz)Overall I'm very happy with the results I've gotten. There is no supplement that will replace a good balanced diet, healthy eating habits and nutrition from natural products like fruits, vegetables, poultry, fish etc. If you are looking to get bigger or repair your worked out muscles or just need a protein supplement (on top of your good balanced diet) to meet your daily protein intake, this is a great product!

Very happy with this protein powder
This is a nice high-protein powder that is not chalky and is very easy to dissolve into things without making them too thick. Flavor and smell are fine, it's fairly lightly flavored so it doesn't tend to overwhelm the food it is in. Overall a solid value for the cost.

Best Protein Out There
This is the BEST protein that I have had so far. Before I go any further, this is the "best" in my opinion because I was looking for specific elements in my protein which were the following:1. Natural Whey Protein with no other types of protein, such as soy. There's nothing wrong with soy, but i can just drink soy milk or eat tofu for that.2. Cold Filtered so that it's not denatured3. No hormones or added ingredients. I want the ingredient list to be as short as possible and ALL NATURAL4. LOW CALORIES and LOW FAT. I DO NOT want excess mass, contrary to probably 95% of the people out there who take supplements to just "get big"If the above are things you do not want (especially number 4), then search out a different protein. Now, if you were looking for the above, I'll tell you why it's so great.A. Taste. This has NO weird whey after taste. it keeps it to a very minimum. to be honest, i don't taste it at all. also since it uses no artificial flavors, you don't get that weird cheap candy after taste either.B. Price. This price on amazon is excellent. it's way cheaper than anything you will find at your local health food store. it almost always sells for a little over 40 dollars. (UPDATE: pricing is not always the best on Amazon anymore, so you might want to look around before purchasing.)C. Results. Ok, this is of course going to be different from person to person because it depends on a lot on how you train, your lifestyle/regular eating habits, etc., but i like it because it hasn't added any fat, and has helped me supplement by diet with that extra bit of protein. and it definitely has helped me gain muscle and strength. I've used this product steadily for about 4 to 5 years now.UPDATE: Feb. 12, 2012I just wanted to add one more point after receiving a friendly response to my review. I've read some negative reviews on this product regarding its mixability. Normally this product mixes incredibly well, i.e. just dissolves into the water/milk instantly. HOWEVER, I have had two separate instances in my 6+ years of using this product when the protein just wouldn't mix well. I noticed that the powder color was slightly darker brown than normal too. But, seeing that it only happened twice in my 6+ years of using this product and no such cases in the past 3 years, I am inclined to say these were one off instances, and may very well qualify for an exchange.P.S. I'm still using this product regularly.UPDATE: Jan. 16, 2015Just another update, as I was ordering for myself and realized I hadn't yet mentioned, but the company has started sourcing the protein from grass fed cows. This is the best thing short of organic, and to be honest, grass fed is more important than simply being "organic" So if you do buy this protein, try to look for the version that has the sticker or label indicating that is "from grass fed cows".
