Overall its a great recipe box that has lots of room for future recipes and does what it says on the tin. The plastic card protector and notch on the top of the box have come in handy. Pros- Simple look, large size, thick plastic card protector, notch for propping up recipes, nice woodsy smell, latch that keeps it closed Cons- Takes up lots of room on my small counter when cooking, card protector has a gap in the back that might allow splashes in

Bought this for a nephew for Christmas who loves to cook. The box itself is well made and should last a life time. The recipe cards are sturdy and fit well into the box. The recipe dividers are nice, although a few more categories, or even a few blank dividers would be a nice touch. The slot on top of the box is handy to hold the recipe that you are currently working on . Good item and we plan on filling out several recipe cards with old family favorite recipes that my nephew will really like.

I love this recipe box; it spurred me to retype all my recipes and sort them appropriately. The box is sturdy, well-constructed, and beautiful. I love it. The company shipped timely. During quarantine I wanted to organize all the fun recipes I’ve received from family, friends, chili cook offs, etc and have them all in the same size card in one place. This box filled the list of qualities I was looking for - classic style, durable, attractive for counter without being too trendy, and had a bonus feature. The ridge chiseled on the top with the plastic protective sleeve are perfect. My current menagerie of clippings, cards and scraps of paper were all stained, worn and had missing areas where I’ve just spilled too much on the recipe. Slowly recopying recipes and loving the new box with all its room and usefulness. Awesome gift, bridal shower idea (yes, I did one for my daughter and included blank cards in every invite- great gift). Great cookie exchange or chili cook off prize.

I'm thrilled with the quality of this product, especially after seeing so many of poorer workmanship. It's solidly made and very pretty. I ordered it the week before Christmas, with an estimated delivery of December 23. I wasn't sure it would arrive in time, especially with news reports of massive shipping delays. I was happily surprised when it arrived two days after placing the order.

Nice size, color and sturdy. Has a brushed brass latch. Recipe holder fits into slot on top of box and the dividers make it easy to separate recipes. Very pleased.

I have been looking in stores for months for a good recipe box to replace a flimsy plastic one. This is fabulous! It looks nice enough to keep out, recipe cards fit in easily and the bonus slot and card holder are a real treat.

I love it! I bought it so that I could condense my massive collection of cookbooks. I find that I only use a few recipes from each one so I am taking them and putting them into this compact, easy to use system. I especially love that there is a groove in the top and cars protector for safe and easy viewing while cooking! So much better than trying to force a book to stay open! I am loving it so much, I bought a second one for spells and oil blends. I plan to paint “Kitchen” on one and “Cauldron” on the other!
