Water2Buy EASY ionX resin | Ion-exchange resin for water softeners. Calcium and magnesium removal.

I have had a Water2Buy water softener since 2016 and have been delighted with its perfomrance over the years. I had a problem with the resin getting contaminated between buying the unit and installing it and the guarentee had expired. Water2Buy sent me resin and instructions on how to clean and refil the unit with the new resin. Fabulous service becasue they didn't have to do anything so i was so pleased with their helpful customer service - completely unexpected.The resin itself has been in the unit and working perfectly sincepurchase and I am very pleased with the family unit i purchased which recharges once a week overnight. The water quality is noticeably better as i suffer from excema and the softened shower water feels silky and has helped reduce irritation to my skin. I live in south London and the water hardness in Bexley is absolutely vile and you have to descale the kettle three times a week and our vegetable steamer has a scum in the water until I started using the softened water to cook vegetables in.Anyone who lives in greater London and doesn't have a softener is missing out and I would thoroughly recommend Water2Buy softeners for ease of installation, longevity of service and great customer care. The units are much better priced than competitor models and two friends have already bought newer models of the unit I have and are equally delighted.

When my 10+ years old water softener had ceased to deliver soft water to our domestic water system I decided the time had come either to buy a new one or to change the resin. A new water softener would have cost me around £500- £1000 (excluding fitting charge) whereas the cost of a bag containing 20Kg - enough cation exchange resin for two complete refills - cost me £90. It was a no-brainer! Disconnecting the water softener and refilling it with resin and reconnecting it requires reasonable DIY skills, but was less difficult than I had imagined. The new resin does the job perfectly and our water is now back to being super soft (down from 320ppm to less than 20ppm Ca and Mg ions).

I use resin on a weekly basis and thought ild give this one a go, unfortunately it’s poor quality and leaves spotting. Tested with TDS meter and readings were very high. Tried a second TDS meter and readings again high. Swapped out the resin and refilled and used and still the same. Have gone back to my usual company and it’s great. Unfortunately I would say don’t buy this

I bought this product for the first ever time from this company and it's arrived with sellotape on 1 topside as you can see on the picture so very disappointed was going to send it back but I need it tomorrow so don't know if I will be ordering from this company again
