Lil smaller than expected
This was my very first gunpla, and building it took a whopping 3 hours, but only because I was also watching The Origin while I built it. Absolutely fantastic, but smaller than I was expecting. Absolutely worth the price. Building it was a lil complicated, but I was able to figure it out. The red is very nice, but the axe does not fit in the hand that is supposed to hold the axe. 10/10 has introduced me to my newest addiction

Great first kit
This was my first gunpla build ever. I started watching Gundam for the first time last year and blew through the ENTIRE UC timeline in about 1 month (in release order). Once I watched Origins I ordered this Char - Zaku II so fast because I simply needed it in my life.Since this kit I have built a few more, and I realize looking back this kit had some flaws,-a bit too many policaps-stickers are horrible (expected from Hight grades)-needs quite a bit of color correcting despite being a predominantly RED model suitBut as far as High grades go made in the late 2010's this one is more then adequate for a High grade - entry / beginner point.

Solid, Highly Detailed Kit
(Note: the pictures I posted have the kit panel lined a flat coat, and sticker decals applied.)One of my first gundam kits I've built and it's still solid as a rock. Poses great (the feet aren't too good at an angle but that's all zaku kits sadly), comes with a wide assortment of weapons, an excellent amount of details for panel lining to give it that extra 'oomph' in the eyecandy department, overall a very very good kit. Would recommend.

The most fun I've had with a High Grade!
Easily one of my favorite HGs! The articulation and surface details are fantastic, and the build process was a lot of fun! If you want a Zaku kit, this is the one to get!

Lots of weapons and added detail makes this HG Zaku GTO a must have for Gunpla builders.
I browse through Amazon's HG kits and find a good deal once in a while shopping here. A lot of them are from vendors with their prices jack up but I was able to find this on here for $20 w/ Prime two day shipping. I just got done building the MG RX-72-02 GTO and wanted to do a fun quick build over the weekend without having to be so maticulous when it comes to airbrushing and part sorting. This kit did not disappoint. I have built around 30 kits and this is only my second Zaku. My first was the HG Psycho Zaku which truly lives up to its name. That kit was double the price compared to this kit however. My photo is of my build without panel lining it and without a top coat currently. There's a lot of pro's to this kit so I'm only going to state the few cons that I have for this.1. The sticker decals for the edges of the legs and skirt need to be perfectly placed or else you'll end up with either a gap, crooked lines, or both. It takes some common sense with these decals since it doesn't tell you where you should start to lay these edging decals for the legs and skirt. I noticed that these decals don't get placed over top any gaps where two parts come to meet when snapping it together so keep that in mind. Starting these decals at a part edge rather than starting in the middle of the part proved to be easier.2. This comes with a bunch of weapons but sadly it appears you can only hold a gun with the right hand only. I was able to cheat by using the open left hand to hold the belt fed tommy gun as seen in my photo.Other than that, this build was very easy to complete. If I was just clipping the parts off the sprue and not sanding them it'd only take a couple hours. I hope they make a MG version of this GTO so I can have it with my MG RX-78-02 GTO.

Wonderful Zaku II kit
This is one of my favorite Kits when it comes to its designIt is pretty complex for it being a HG Zaku III recommend this to most people, if not for the kit the sheer amount of hands and weapons is awesomeThe decals are a pain to line up but they aren’t a necessityYou can make this kit your own with decals where you want themIt does not have to be anime accurateIt just has to be what you enjoyAll in all a wonderful kit, not necessarily for some beginners just starting out but as a nice step up from simpler kits. The more difficult stuff is within the partial frame of the arms and legs. But with some patience and confidence anyone can do it!!
