Impressive quality for the price. Good tool for wick/coil building.
I was not expecting a whole lot from this pair of tweezers given the price. But, I'm pleased to report that the quality it far better than expected. The tips meet perfectly and allow me to pick up not only individual wicks, but individual threads (I use this mostly for atomizer rebuilding). The body is pretty lightweight, but more than adequate for the typical tasks one would use a tweezer for. However, they do not appear that they are sturdy enough to resist bending. For example, if you had these in your back pocket and sat down, the arms would no doubt be bent way out of shape (plus you'd get a pretty good poke from the points!).These are not nearly as well-made as my favorite value-brand precision tweezers ( Aven 18072EZ E-Z Pik Style 7 Precision Tweezer, Stainless Steel, 4-1/2" Length ) but, for the price, they are far closer than I would have expected. If you can get these for about $1.75 or so, they are well worth it.

Eyebrows & Splinter removal - PERFECT!
I worked in a semi-conductor business and we used sharp tip tweezers and I loved them. They're perfect for splinters and pulling out those fine eyebrow strays. These are a perfect size and work fine - only thoughts are: For ease of use, I wish they weren't such a "tight" squeeze and they could be made from a lighter material. For industrial use, these are perfect and they do work for our brows and for fine work, they're just "tight". Caution - they're sharp like a pin prick and don't, not even once, use them for something else because you'll ruin the tips.

may be good for hobbies, lousy at splinters or hair
I bought these tweezers because other reviews said how wonderful they were. Many commented how sharp they were so I thought they should work well at removing splinters. But at this task they were lousy. I then tested their grasping power by trying to pull out hair and found them lousy at that too. It took many attempts to grasp and pull out a single hair follicle. So while they may be great for hobby and jewelry work -- which to be fair is all that the product info and other reviewers have commented on -- they weren't so great at splinters and hair. For what its worth, they are somewhat longer than standard hair tweezers, measuring about five and a quarter inches long.

Precisely mated needle points
These things are perfect. Best value for the money; if you need super-dangerously-pointy stainless tweezers then look no further. Mine measure 13.5cm from bow to stern (5.5 inches if you're a barbarian) and are filed to perfect alignment. Good springy action is strong enough to separate the points yet not enough to make trembly fingers amidst delicate work.My application is folding origami, and I'm able to compare to the Wiha German-made tweezers that are my current faves. So, how to these WLXY-branded tweezes compare?Quite well, as it happens. There's scant difference in machining quality, both are basically perfect. The Wihas have an ESD coating and are guaranteed top-notch steel. I don't know what stainless steel the WLXYs are made of but it's good too, though somewhat springier. If you need a pointy tweezing tool then look no further.

The tweezers are not as fine as the image on the listing suggests
Arrived in a bubble envelope. The tweezers are not as fine as the image on the listing suggests. If you're doing microscopy, avoid these - the tips are too blunt and fat to be any use. They end up taking up almost half the image even at a modest 20x view. They're somewhat stiff on the closing action. Also the tips on one of the two pairs I bought isn't the same length at the tip, so one side has an underbite. I would consider these forceps I'd use if I suspected the use might junk the pair.

Very nice
My only gripe with these is that the points don't match up 100%. They match up about 98%...which is good for some applications, but it's a little bit annoying to have to reposition the points to get at what I'm trying to tweeze. Very sharp tips and very precise, which is what keeps it at a 4. Five stars would be 100% approximation every time, which this does not.

great precision and alignment
I'd have given this a five star (the product is a five star) except it took weeks to ship - not that it made much of a difference to me - but I almost forgot about it, it took so long. The precision and alignment are extremely good - if it holds up, it is a very good product at a very reasonable price.

Very good
I was surprised how big it was and thought it would impede precision but it's very easy just to hold further down on it for a different grip. Very sharp so it would have been nice to have a little top for it as you don't want to dig blindly for it in your toiletry bag. Great for ingrown hairs you have to nick the skin a little to get to. Use it for eyebrows as well, just be careful not to use too much pressure as it can clip the hairs instead. For the price I'm very happy, especially not having to spend over $20 for a Tweezerman.

Not fit for purpose
Very poor quality of tweezers. Would not recommend.

Exactly what I wanted
The tweezers are very fine but strong at the same time. They are better than my present pair which bend under the slightest of pressure.

Spitze Pinzette
Bei uns in der Firma gibt es häufiger Verletzungen mit Holzsplittern. Hiermit gibt es zumindest eine Erste Hilfe und der Spliter lässt sich gut entfernen.
