Nice quality with soft yet firm bristles that will do the job. Nice long handle and wood is finished nicely.

Excellent quality I use it for dusting hard to get to areas on my guitars and amps. Works great and doesn't leave any scratches on my equipment.

Since this Alvin 2340, is the first brush I've used to sweep off eraser crumbs or colored dust I see from certain colored pencils, I have nothing to compare it to. I can only judge how well it performs the tasks I purchased it to do. By appearance it matches the brush in the photo by Amazon, right down to the ALVIN Dusting Brush sticker. It does not look the same as the photo supplied by another customer whose brush was made of plastic, this brush is a light weight wood. The hairs are 3.5" to 4" in length and a variety of textures, giving the brush a medium-soft bristle. I'm still getting some shedding because the brush is new. I'm expecting the shedding to stop any time now or the brush goes back. The brush does a very good job removing the colored pencil dust and a decent job on the eraser crumbs and any other debris that finds its way to my paper. My only complaint at this point is caused by static cling, the desk top I use has a fair amount of static which is great for holding my paper in place, but not so great in the way it also holds on to the shedding horse hairs. I'm going to give this brush 4 stars, I think it has great potential to be a favorite tool, if it stops shedding! If it does not reach that potential, the score will drop accordingly. Edit - 7/17 - the brush stopped shedding for the most part right after I left this review. I use it all the time and really like it. I will order again and would recommend to others in need of a good brush.

Exactly what I expected. The brush is being used to remove eraser dust from drawing projects.

It is big but that's what I wanted. It is very soft and removes my earaser shavings nicely without smudging my work.
