D2D Front Wiper Windscreen Motor for Car 28800-JD0000

A direct replacement for the OEM wiper motor that ceased to work. If you're having problems with your wipers not working be aware it could be due to a dead motor or the linkages binding. Linkages can sometimes be fixed with just clips.My OEM motor was definetly at fault. The drive shaft was very lose and binding. Replacing the motor is fairly straightfoward but you'll probably need a wiper puller to get the wiper arms off their shafts.I would suggest putting some masking tape on the windscreen to indicate the position of the wiper blades in the parked position. Then do the replacement in stages. When you've removed the linkages and motor check that the link ball joints are not worn and lose. Then remove the motor from the linkage but leave it connected to the car and try it. If it doesn't rotate then its dead.Try the new motor first before connecting to the linkages. Make sure you leave it in the parked position. Replace the linkages and try again to make sure that the linkage and motor return to the correct parked place. Easy enough to reposition if not. Then fit to car and refit wiper arms and plastic scuttle - you'll need some plastic rivets to secure the scuttle. Plenty on Amazon.So far its been working for a few weeks and in plenty of rain. Only time will tell how reliable it is.****September 7 2021Well time did tell and the motor has just died. A little while back started getting a bit temperamental and would occassionally freeze then start again. Also seemed a little slow at times. This morning it died completely. I removed the assembly and just tried the motor on its own - nothing. Then tried the old but worn motor and it worked but obviously not good enought to rely on.So, it looks like you get what you pay for - rubbish. Now ordered the same make as the OEM model. More expensive but hopefully more reliable.*****Sep 15th 2021New OEM motor fitted and the performance is far superior to this cheap chinese knock off.

Got quoted £200 to have one of these supplied and installed by a mechanic. Took a chance on buying this and installed myself with no problem whatsoever.Works like a dream, much smoother than the original and works with multiple speeds. Installed to a 2009 Nissan Qashqai.No complaints at all, hopefully it lasts!

Perfect sorted my Nissan quashqui only took few hours to put in and set the wipers again … UPDATE bought in august stopped working in December whilst in a car full of my children which is so dangerous really disappointing

I bought it 7 of May but today 2nd of July I already had to replace because it isn’t working.I could return by the 6 of June I think warranty could be a bit longer.

Did exactly what it says, brilliant many thanks! Don’t panic if the wipers go wrong way, it just means you haven’t set the mechanism correctly! I done this and thought I bought Left Hand Drive but all worked out!

Works intermittently. Usually works on slow speed but stops when on high speed. But cheap enough.. to not complain. You get what you pay for...
