Miss Jessie's Pillow Soft Curls Unisex Lotion 8.5 oz

I have been trying for so long to find a product for my daughter's curls. She has very tight curls and her hair isn't super thick or super thin. The products I've tried might work just while her hair is wet but then as soon as it dries, it gets frizzy again. No other product has held up against playing outside or nap time. At the end of the day, she would have this unruly, dry, afro. This product is different. I put a pretty decent amount in her hair while it's wet then just sort of run my fingers through it and style it a little bit. I don't comb it because I don't want to comb her curls out. Even with a wide tooth comb. This stuff lasts all day long no matter what she does. Her curls are so beautiful and defined. They feel softer and look softer. It doesn't harden like other products. Her curls are still bouncy after it dries. It even smells good. This stuff definitely works! Glad to finally find a product that would moisturize and define her curls.

I've been using this product for over two years now & I LOVE the way it makes my hair look and feel. There isn't a weird smell like many other products, and it dries beautifully in my hair leaving it frizz-free and holds my curls just right without looking crunchy! It isn't disgustingly sticky like some other products I've tried but I still wash my hands after applying it- as you should. You don't need toooo much product so the value is really good in my opinion, especially when you're getting a quality product that truly works. If I don't use it in the morning, my hair just does not have a good day! I highly recommend this product for all my wavy/curly hair girlies!

The product promises big, soft curls that aren't ramen-noodle thin or crunchy, and a scent like fresh laundry, and it delivers on all of those. The scent didn't last past drying, though, and the hold unfortunately didn't last all day for me, so it would probably need additional styling products to get that all-day hold, which might render the non-crunchiness moot or affect the kind of curls it delivers. Different hair types might have less of an issue - I'm between a 2B and 2C curl, with healthy, non-coarse hair. It also darkened my hair somewhat and left it looking less clean. Still, it did a great job of delivering maximum curl for me, and did it without getting hard or sticky, so I'll play around with quantity to see how it affects my results.

You will never EVER have to purchase another styling cream again after this one. I have tried it on all different hair types, and it works wonders for everyone. It is so soft, smells amazing, and is a perfect wash and go product. I highly recommend incorporating this into your routine. It maintains softness while holding the curl for maximum results!

I have extremely fine, 2C/3A waves/curls that I was really struggling to keep hydrated and defined this winter. Suddenly my usual routine was just not cutting it and I had tried what felt like EVERYTHING to bring some life back to my hair. I found out about this product from a Cosmopolitan article talking about products for fine, textured hair and I decided to give it a go. I am SO GLAD I did!! This product does exactly what it says it does: gives you light as a feather, soft as a pillow curls. My hair is hydrated and shiny and there is ZERO crunch or greasy residue. The smell is a bit strong when going on, but doesn't linger in an overpowering way; you're just gonna smell super clean. What has worked the best for me is 1. immediately combing my hair with a detangling comb after I get out of the shower 2. re-wetting my hair with a spray bottle so it's dripping wet 2. putting a pea sized amount on my finger tips and then rubbing my hands together before flipping my hair and scrunching throughout the ends; you want your hair to make a squelching sound as you distribute the product 3. standing back upright and scrunching through the outer layers but not putting it too close to the scalp to avoid build up over time 4. then doing another pass with a microfiber towel to remove excess water and lock in the shape of the curls 5. air drying! This product really has been revolutionary for me and I've been recommending it to all of my curly-haired friends. It is on the pricier side for a hair product, but the bottle is so big and a little goes a long way, so I really see myself not needing to repurchase for at least 6 months (and that's with washing my hair every other day). 10/10 recommend!

This does a great job on my curls. It leaves them soft, bouncy, and well-defined without feeling crunchy, and I’ve been happy with how my hair looks and feels when I use it. The downside for me is the scent. It’s very strong and lingers for a long time, and the fragrance reads more like fabric softener than a typical hair product. If you’re sensitive to scents or prefer lightly fragranced products, this could be a dealbreaker. If fragrance doesn’t bother you, this is a solid curl product. For me, the results are good, but the smell was strong enough to knock a couple of stars off.

Liebe dieses Produkt. Habe die Lotion bereits auf verschiedensten Lockenarten getestet. Es gibt ihnen die perfekte Sprungkraft und wenn man die richtige Menge angepasst ans Haar verwendet werden sie auch nicht zu schwer. Gute Feuchtigkeitsversorgung und der Geruch ist auch sehr angenehm. Macht die Haare nicht Crunchy sondern soft und Fluffig ohne Frizz.

Really like this product, doesn’t weight my hair down. Next day can just spray some water through it, scrunch and good to go. Highly recommend

Finalmente un prodotto per ricci che funziona davvero! Miss Jessie’s Pillow Soft Curls è stata una vera scoperta per i miei capelli. Ha una texture leggera, tipo lozione, che si applica con facilità senza lasciare residui né appesantire i ricci. Subito dopo l’asciugatura ho notato la differenza: i capelli risultano morbidi, voluminosi e senza quell’effetto “croccante” che lasciano molti prodotti per lo styling. Il profumo è buonissimo: sa di bucato fresco, ma non è invadente. La definizione che dona è naturale, perfetta per chi – come me – preferisce un look soffice e ampio piuttosto che ricci compatti e rigidi. Un altro punto a favore: niente effetto crespo e la piega dura anche nei giorni successivi, il che lo rende ideale per chi non vuole ritoccare ogni mattina. Lo uso sia con diffusore che lasciando asciugare all’aria, e il risultato è sempre soddisfacente. La confezione da 250 ml dura a lungo, basta poco prodotto per ottenere un buon effetto. Inoltre è privo di ingredienti aggressivi come parabeni, solfati e petrolati.

I was looking for something for my daughter to help define her curls without weighing it down. This takes away all the frizz and defines her curls perfectly. Her curls look amazing and her hair looks actually curly instead of a frizzy (but always beautiful) mess. I have a feeling you all will love it as much as i do! Keep in mind it does have a different scent slightly like clean laundry but i don’t dislike it! it’s just a nice clean smell. This bottle is also super huge!
