It is fresh and has an excellent taste.

Walnuts is dry, no mould. Most of sellers soak nuts in water for bigger weight. This one did not add water.

These walnuts are so bitter they are inedible. Supermarket walnuts are better than these. They are well within date, expiring 30th June 2023.I didn't understand what could be making them so bitter I couldn't eat them, so I researched bitterness in Walnuts and learnt this can come from two things: -1. The skins have a slightly bitter taste.2. If they are turning or have gone rancid.Tasting so awful I couldn't eat it, I can only surmise that they have gone bad. I have totally lost confidence in the product and don't want to risk getting poorly from them even if I roast and remove the skins to see if they improve.I am disappointed to have spent so much on this top of the range product to have to throw it in the bin. Having checked about getting a refund, it's not possible to start a returns process due to the returns policy on these type of products.Maybe its a bad batch but as of today - 16/03/22, when I am writing this review, I would not recommend purchasing these at the moment.

These walnuts are the best I’ve tasted in a long time, since I harvested my own. Completely different taste from shop bought walnuts. I highly recommend this company, I buy from them all the time

This is the third time we bought those, this time two boxes, as we eat them too quickly. These are without a doubt the freshest and tastiest walnuts I had a chance to taste in the UK for the last 30 years: they actually taste of walnuts and have not a hint of being rancid or stale, reminding me for the first time of the walnuts I have eaten as a child many years ago (I grew up in Montenegro). Thank you sooo much for bringing them to the UK market and please do continue doing so! Five star rating is simply not enough for such wonderful products - well done to the farmers in Transylvania for growing them with such respect towards nature - it they did not, the walnuts would not taste so good.

Raw and organic walnuts are rare, and these ones are not contaminated!

Love the taste of these walnuts - thank you for making these available for the Canadian market. Liked them so much, I have now a subscription. The price is really high, hopefully you'll offer a better discount for subscribers. :)

Very fresh, tasty, not bitter. I soak them in water and salt for 12 hours. Drain. Wash and put them in the dehydrator for about 9 hours. They taste crunchy and wonderful! I always buy this brand because I have found them to be reliable.

During the Covid 19 pandemic it has been difficult to find a reliable source of organic nuts to use for homemade granola and nut milk. Actually, it can be challenging at the best of times, so I am pleased to have found Erbology. The nuts are high quality and the packaging is mostly recyclable.

In two bites found few ok tasting pieces, but largely old and slightly rancid. Some pieces were even bitter. I tried 3 different times and spit the last two bites out and rinsed out my mouth. I’d happily pay more for good walnuts but these were a big disappointment.

These nuts are slightly bitter because rancid. I bought them because they are organic. Unfortunately the quality is not there at all.
