Lane Home Furnishings 6002-11 Glenrock Hi Leg Recliner, Mushroom

My husband and I have gone thru a few chairs in the past few years all of them claiming to be the best and most comfortable. Take it from me. After spending several hundred dollars on junk chairs, we purchased this chair. It was delivered today by a very nice young man. He unpacked it and as soon as we saw it, we knew it was the ONE. It's well constructed and very sturdy. We have a Lazy Boy and this is along those lines. I read the reviews and I am telling you, it's a beautiful chair. It completes our living room/family room and we are going to get many years of good use. We may buy another one in a few months as now we are flipping coins to take turns!!!! best price and best comfort.

It is a recliner, wing-back, chair. Tried to buy one from LazyBoy, but they had none in stock causing us to wait for a chair for two months. The chair that we ordered from Amazon was there in a few days. My husband finds it comfortable and I like that it looks fashionable.

Its a nice chair however too light it slides every where on tile floor. If you look closely on the side the seamss are not tuck in evenly and some parts the stiches are not tight

I don’t often write reviews, but felt like I had to share my experience here. We bought two of these chairs in the khaki color. I love the look of them and they are the perfect size for our bedroom. However, a few months after purchasing, I noticed that the entire left arm of the chair was separating from the body. These chairs are lightly used so definitely seemed defective. I contacted Lane furnishings via the amazon link and started a very long email conversation with their warranty department. To sum up an extremely long email thread, they sent me a replacement chair, many weeks later, to some random warehouse an hour drive from my home. This warehouse was doing a favor for them by accepting my new chair. Lane furniture refused to deliver the replacement to my house (so odd since it was originally delivered via amazon to my home). When I arrived to pick up the new replacement chair I found that all four wooden legs were completely broken. Several weeks later, Lane Furnishings refuses to respond to my emails. I have two broken chairs and even had to pay the warehouse manager to send the second broken chair to the dump. The issue is still unresolved—I will never buy from this company again.

Got this recliner to replace a hi-leg la-z-boy destroyed by cats, so I didn’t want to spend too much but still wanted something attractive and comfortable. This far exceeded my expectations. The fabric is a good quality tapestry - a gorgeous paisley of browns and tans - and after a couple weeks of use the reclining mechanism works better than my pricey old la-z-boy. I’m 5’2” and this is perfect for me. It’s a mama bear sized chair, probably not the best for papa bears. Check the dimensions if you’re not sure it’ll be big enough. Delivery included got it inside the front door (and the driver even took away the shipping box!). The price for the version I got - Luisa Tobacco - fluctuates considerably, so it’s worthwhile to check prices and be patient. I know not everyone has the same experience or opinion of this Lane recliner, but I think it’s brilliant!

I really liked the color and quality of the material. It was comfortable to sit in and easy to recline. It was not delivered on time and after a week a spring in the back broke. It was easy to return but had to take part of the day off work for it to be picked up.

I love my new Lane recliner! It arrived fully assembled and in a huge box. All I had to do was take it out and put it where I want it. All mechanicals work perfectly and it fits me to a T. (I am 5'2", but my 6'0" husband likes it as well.) The cushions are on the firm side, but I like that because it feels very supportive to my back. Overall, I am thrilled with this purchase. I also have to note that I looked at quite a few sites to find a Lane recliner, and was very pleased to find it on Amazon at a great price. Finally, Amazon's delivery was quick - I got it 6 days from ordering! Very happy customer here.

Replaced a 20 year old Lane with this one. Hope it gives the performance the old one did. Nice that is made in the USA. The only issue, you must put a lot of effort into getting it to recline. Hoping it will get easier with use. I will keep that updated as needed. UPDATE: Contacted Lane, fast response......I was told it needs to wear in. I suggested maybe a silicon would help, but the would not say yes or no. But mentioned that they know some customers have used wd40....I think I will try the silicon lube. The joints pop into plastic bushings....Not sure how wd40 will react to the plastic. They were correct, it did wear in...........But the down side........It is made for someone under 165 lbs...........the cushion is too soft, can feel the coil springs.The front of the chair cushion where my legs are, the cushion has already crushed down, and is not coming back up. I put a kitchen chair cushion on it to use. Id return it, but im in need of it since it is the only way i can sleep. I will be on the look out at local stores, so I can see and sit on it before a purchase. Lane was a great Chair company 25 years ago, that is why I bought another Lane...........The frame seems to be well made, the seat cushion is a bust...It like sitting on a marshmallow, not very comfortable after a while.
