Satin Ice Silver Shimmer Fondant With Edible Glitter (4.4 Ounce, Vanilla) For Cake Decorating

This stuff is so cool! My little one really wanted unicorn cupcakes for her party and the only stuff I could find in the store was made of plastic, or included suspicious ingredients that I wouldn't feed the kids. A baker friend recommended I try this fondant and it worked brilliantly. It's totally safe and yummy and was pretty easy to work with with virtually no mess. The kids and even my husband got in on the action. We used the gold fondant for the horns, and silver for the hair. The instructions also said we could mix with other colors, so we mixed the silver with pink, yellow, orange, blue and green to make multicolored sparkling hair. We put some extra sparkles from edible glitter dust on the horns for extra pop. Everyone went wild over the cupcakes and we had a fun bonding experience too. I'll definitely use it again!

There was nothing particularly wrong with the flavour - lets be honest no one buys fondant for the taste! This was my first time working with fondant ( I made a deathstar cake) and it turned out perfect! If you use a fondant rolling pin and parchment paper it wont stick to anything at all. Went on perfect. Colour was excellent.

This is my first time working with pre made fondant and I was able to shape out two bamboo earrings and use a chain mold and it worked really well. The fondant was very soft and actually had a good taste, not too sweet.

Satin Ice makes a wide variety of colored fondant. The gold I purchased is the perfect color for my cake. Easy to roll, very pliable, and a pleasure to use.

I makey own fondant, but when I need metallic colors, I'll be buying these. .05¢ to make my own, but to get the great color consistency I don't want to try. This fondant is worth the cost. I've made wheat stalks, crowns & communion cups and they all came out great.
