NCStar Rangebag Insert/Red - Cases & Bags - Shooting Range [Misc.]

I'm reviewing this bag not as a pistol bag, but as a travel keyboard case. It's a commonly recommended cheap case for 60% keyboards like the Poker II and Ducky Mini. (Custom bags for these boards are usually at least $30-50, so this is a great alternative.)The fit is perfect--snug, but not at all tight. It's easy to get my Poker (which has the stock case) in and out without even unzipping the bag all the way. The bag is nice and padded, and I've been carrying my Poker in my bookbag without worrying about the keys getting too much pressure. At this point, I don't feel the need to switch to a hard case for added protection.My biggest worry was that the zipper would be scratchy and could mark up the keys or the case, but this doesn't seem to be a problem. I do plan to eventually get an aluminum case and will look carefully for any scratches then.My one complaint about this bag (which would probably also be a problem for gun owners) is that it has been shedding tiny threads from the selvedge. These little black fibers are especially visible on my white keycaps. I tried to remove any stray threads from the case, but it will probably continue to shed for a while.

Bought four of these of different colors. They offer adequate protection for storage of stuff such as external DVD drives, Passport type disc drives, or for "snake repellant" in a tacklebox without being too bulky. Worth the price and would buy again.Rick

I use these weekly and just bought some more, they go range 1 - 2 times a week or more, holds up well so far.

Good quality for the price.

This is just what I was looking for. It is a little big for my sub nosed 9mm revolver, but I like it and don't have to have it slipping around. The color helps me to know which gun is in which case. I purchased the camo one for my other gun.

For the money these can't be beat. Love the low-profile shape, and bag opens flat to work as a gun rug. Great buy!

LOUD zipper pulls. I'm astonished at how much noise these things somehow make. Otherwise nice.
