I'm not sure how I feel about this product. It did straighten my hair for the most part, but it didn't wow me. Not sure if I want to keep this or return it. I felt like it tugged at my hair, which is a no no for me. Also: the glove has a hole in the area between the thumb and pointer finger. I expected the glove to be brand new and with no defects.

This is great for my needs. It heats up quickly and works well. I have thick hair and you can grab a large amount and it still works. It seems to work better with larger amounts of hair than a normal straightening iron. Also, regulating the heat setting is easy and it heats up quickly.

How much do I LOVE this flat iron? So much that I bought a second one for my daughter less than a week after I purchased one for me! This flat iron heats up so fast (after the first use, I only heat to 350, it was that hot!) and the brush style bristles get hot, too, for an almost single pass through to achieve results. It gave us straight yet bouncy, sleek hair. My daughter and I have super thick, wavy hair and the heated teeth get every side of the hair was we pull through, every time. Be sure your hair is brushed prior to using as the teeth will snag a knot. I wish it had protective steam (like my last one) but with a lower temp, it hasn't damaged my hair yet. Love this and HIGHLY recommend!

I liked the idea of being able to straighten my hair faster & that it would brush as it straightened so I wouldn't have to use a separate straightening comb. However, this gadget was terrible. It made my hair look awful! Full of poof and frizz. The brush teeth aren't close enough together to do small sections. You have to have almost more hair than the "straightener" can open for in order to grasp hair. Because of that, you miss a lot of hair close to the scalp. The hair you are able to grasp does not come out straight at all. It's very frizzy waves. If you're going to try it, make sure you give yourself time to fix your hair with something else or have a ponytail holder handy. I'll be returning the one I tried.

This straightener worked wonders on my hair, I have long (mid thigh length) hair and it's always such a hassle to straighten my hair even at the highest heat setting. I was able to straighten my hair in half the time using the Berta Straightener and didn't even cause much heat damage since I didn't have to turn the temperature up too high. I can't believe I finally found my go to straightener for everything. As soon as the package arrive in bubble wrap, I was so excited to try it. And I'm glad I ordered this. Most other straighteners leave my hair still frizzy but Berta's straightener left it long luscious and frizz free.

This item didn’t work as efficiently as it looks . I had to pass the comb flat iron over the same strand of hair more than once. I think the teeth are to spaced apart they need to be closer together so that the metal plates can touch each other so that it works on your hair faster

I was very skeptical of all the good reviews of this straightener, but I can assure you I have not been paid or given anything for this review and I would give it 10 stars if I could! I love how fast it heats up and how very easy it is to use! My daughter and I have very thick hair and it only takes about 5 minutes to get it all straightened! I love having the brushes to keep it all together and get it straight without much work. I can't believe I waited so long to give a straightener a try, I would highly recommend this one!!

Package was nice. Love the fact of having a flat iron with a brush. It’s light enough that can be used easily without tiring my arm. I have frizzy/puffy hair and in 10 minutes frizz was gone and my hair was smooth which make me really happy, because that’s what I look when I am in a hurry. Heats up really quick and like the lock feature. Like having the brush incorporate, which I think makes it easier to use, really in love with it. Comes with a heat resistant glove that I haven’t tried yet. Definitely would recommend it.
