2012-2018 VW Jetta GLI Monster Mats Set Of 4 All-Weather Mats OEM

I have a 2012 VW GLI and it's so hard to find OEM parts like this for it. So many things are labeled for a Jetta, but never really a GLI (GLI owners know that there is a HUGE difference) so to find these mats for this price was AWESOME. They fit perfectly and are so easy to clean. They add to the vibe of the sportiness of the car and I sm STOKED to have them. They're also cheaper than my local VW dealership (99.99 plus tax.)

My first car is a Jetta and I had to get mats and I think I did the right choice. They look awesome and great quality.

These clip in perfectly to the VW floor mat locks. They do such a great job, I only wish they were a little wider and a little longer so it could protect all of the carpeting. They have little nubby 'spikes' (soft) that help hold the mats in place (even in the backseat where the kids are kicking their feet around all the time). The honeycomb shape is an awesome match to the GLI front grill, but don't drop any dimes into them - they fit annoyingly well into the honeycomb holes and are a pain to get out. :-)

The fit is perfect in my 2014 GLI and they looked nice (initially). However, the rubber is very soft and the dimples and honeycomb where my feet rest have worn pretty smooth after only two winters' worth of short commutes (I only use them during winter and spring and commute 20 miles/day). Water trapping is less effective and they look worn for having seen relatively light use. We'll see how they last in the long run.

Good product, but expect wear under your accelerator heel. My original set came with my 2013 GLI, and I wore a hole through the driver side mat after about 30 months. Part of the comfort of these is the relative cushiony feel of the mats, so its a trade-off I'll take. The mats do a great job of capturing water and debris, and are very easy to vacuum. Snaps fit perfectly with factory installed snaps in front; the rear mats don't have snaps but are nicely form fitted to the footwell on each side.

The mats are perfect as expected and help up well after a year of use. The only noticeable wear is when they get wet you can see water more on the area your feet normally rest I guess because the coating wore off but it isn't noticeable at all when dry. Also obviously better pricing than local dealers.

Glad was able to find these mats! Came with the 2014 VW Jetta GLI 30 edition! Wanted a fresh set of mats! Look so nice in the car! Add lots of character! Trap water without getting the carpet wet! Love them so much that I ordered one more set to have on hand!
