I was hesitant about buying this, but went ahead and tried it.It is really good. I don't have much facial hair, but the little I do have comes off nicely and the skin feels smooth afterward.Of course not every little hair comes off, but it does a great job.I read reviews saying it was really painful and have to disagree - it is NOT painful at all! Even in more sensitive areas like the upper lip. Maybe because I don't have too much hair, but I am very sensitive and my pain tolerance level is very low.I am used to epilation systems as I have had an epilady for legs for years, and really like it.Because of my skin sensitivity I have to be more careful about going over the same spot for too long. The head of the appliance left the area a little red.Tip - don't apply too much pressure as you go.I have not used it for travel, but it is small enough to make it easy to pack.

I returned this item I use it only for chin & upper lip hairs. Just doesn't take out all the hairs. I don't want to use tweezers. That was the point in buying this. I used the blue emjoi eRase for years. Then it stopped working. I ordered a new one. It had black lettering & didn't pull out any hairs, so now I'm still looking for something that will pull out all the hairs. I would not waste my time or money on this product. The light is a nice feature, the charger is great also & it is easy to use, but it really needs to work & it doesn't.

Obviously by the headline: it does what it's supposed to. I bought it for my underarms since I'll be wearing strapless dresses for a few weddings and I've never been satisfied with how shaving makes them look. I can't stand missed spots, nicks, stubble, and dark follicles under the skin you can still see. This takes care of that problem for me! I just tried it so we'll see how long the hair stays away, but for a day, it works perfectly. This hurt at first and I could only do a couple spots. As I went back a few minutes later and then again, the pain was not as bad. Maybe because it wasn't pulling out so many hairs at once by then. Some spots I had to go over a few times for it to pick up the hair, but lighting and a good mirror will do the trick. It does have a light on it, but I find it doesn't always shine on the best spot. The size is good for storing, and also being able to maneuver the smaller parts of the pits or wherever you're trying to get rid of hair.

Received epilator in good condition, nice size, fits well in hand. It’s a noisy little thing, especially if you use it near or on your face! I’ve never used an epilator before, so don’t know how to compare to others. I probably don’t know how to use it yet, and I am trying to use it on pretty short hair, but it definitely takes some work to get anywhere with it. I can tell it’s working to some degree, but still leaving a good bit behind. It doesn’t really hurt though, at least so far, which is surprising to me. The price is good and I think it would be great for travel. After I use it for a while and get better at it, I’ll update this review.

I'm so happy I finally found a more reasonable, time-saving solution to eliminating peach fuzz and random stray hairs! However, there a few things to note:Pros:- rechargeable!- easy to use & comfortable to hold- has a built-in light for easy visibility- plucks the hairs at the root- comes with mini brush, charging cord and bagCons:- is extremely loud!!!- short run time on a full charge - I haven't had it die on me yet, but 30 mins of run time after a 8 hour charge seems very short- can be difficult to thoroughly clean & the top isn't removableOverall I'm happy with this product, but was surprised at how loud it is when running. Might not be an issue if you're using it for underarms or bikini line, but if you're using this epilator on your face (near your ears) the sound can become bothersome. But, you can't beat this product for the price point.
