The electronic piano works very well. I did think though that since it listed as marked down from a price more than twice what I paid for I might of gotten a bargain. It wasn't though. While very functional the control buttons aren't "nice" looking and the plastic finish overall looks inexpensive. I noted the electric guitar voices with distortion were not too much distortion which was the only disappointment. I didn't buy it for it's recording capabilities but noted it records less than 60 seconds, which isn't too useable. It does have a wide range of voices and they sound good to me. It's pretty easy to use. There also a lot of percussion beats to play along to which is pretty neat. Their volume is adjustable but could be a little higher in volume to suit me.

This piano does sound a little cheap but it gets the "job" done. Even though it doesn't sound that great I'm giving it 5 stars because we ordered one and one key wasnt playing. When we sent them an email about the issue they shipped us out a new one - no charge!If you have a child that wants to learn piano then this is a good one to start with. Don't waste your money on something more expensive that they'll eventually give up on down the road.

I read other reviews saying that the AC adapter was not included and almost wrote an angry email myself. I chose this keyboard specifically because it had an adapter and didn't want to buy batteries. When I didn't find the adapter I was not happy and nearly made angry contact because I've never had a problem with Amazon. Then I looked through the packaging. Tucked in the styrofoam corner packaging was the adapter. I totally missed it so I figured I point it out for others.Otherwise, I'm happy with the keyboard. For my 9 years old it's perfect as an intro to music. 4 stars for deceiving packaging otherwise great.

I purchased this keyboard after the 20 year old one I had died. I'm a singer and don't play piano. I use a keyboard for learning new music (I can plunk out melody lines). It works as I would expect it to. My only complaint is that I wish the music stand was not so flimsy. It seems to be made to hold only one piece of sheet music. I have all my music in a 3-ring binder and the folder is too heavy for the music stand.

I am very pleased with this purchase. I was looking for an electronic piano to practice while I'm at home and wasn't really keen on shelling out $100+. I'm a college student so I don't have the money to do so, however, this piano is amazing. You're getting a great deal by purchasing this. It comes with the charger too, which from what I've read not all the electronic pianos on Amazon come with so...that's a perk. Overall, it sounds great and I can't wait to begin playing it. :)

When I cut off the rhythm, the auto bass chord is cut off also and I can't play the bass chord alone. The auto bass chord does not have deep bass even when connected to an amplifier. There is a little noise in the headphone and R/L outputs--they appear to be the same connection, just different jacks. I would not call this a kids keyboard as some reviewers have done but there is thoughtlessness in the design. Programming is cancelled when you power off the unit and there is very little memory for programming. It seems to use an electret mike but the volume of the mike is so low it can't be heard in the speakers. I'm thinking of returning it but I have to pay for shipping and It's such a large box. With my paranoia as a schizophrenic I can assume that people used clever parapsychology to destroy this keyboard physically which could have been a fine product for Hamzer.  Hamzer 61 Key Electronic Music Electric Keyboard Piano - Black

I was hesitant to buy this with all of the bad reviews, but after receiving it I'm happy to report that this piano is pretty perfect! It has great sound, the keys all work, volume is great. Those are just some of the bad qualities others had mentioned. I agree with some that it's a great keyboard for a beginner! :)

To be honest, this is my first time owning and playing a keyboard. I'd have to say it sounds amazing. The only thing it does it makes a static sound in the right speaker. Maybe it's just I'm breaking it in haha. You would enjoy it. It plays loud. Haven't tried out the headphones and microphone jacks.
