Plug and Play for me!
This my initial review, I will update with further use. This item was very easy to setup on MetroPCS. I had a spare line that I was not using and got a nano sim card.. It was literally plug and play. Please check before purchasing that your specific service provider uses one of these US bands (B2/B4/B5/B12/B13/B14/B66/B71). The more bands on this list it uses the better. MetroPCS/T-Mobile uses B2*, B4*, B5, B12*, B66, B71* Verizon uses B2,* B4*, B5, B13*, B66* AT&T uses B2*, B4*, B5, B12*, B14, B66 Main Bands for each carrier is marked by * Bands 2, 4, and 66 form the backbone of 4G LTE coverage in urban areas, while rural areas depend heavily on Bands 12, 13, 14, 17. If you are in a rural area Verizon may not be your best choice. I am using this router on a vacant lot in an urban area, that I use for gardening. No electricity. I'm able to get this to work with the SUNAPEX Solar Panel and Solar Battery Charger with Controller and Built-in 7500mA Battery, DC 6V/9V/12V Output **Edit**After using this in the winter, I suggest getting the Herd360 25,000mA Battery and Panel. 7500mA doesn't cut it if you have any cloudy days.*** It powers this great! Which then allows me to provide wifi to my cameras on the lot. Again, I will keep you guys posted on the wear, quality and longevity of this item. Word to the wise, I get the protection plan with all items I buy.

First check for SIM lock.
I had this router for three weeks before it dawned on me why I couldn't get it to work. (A detailed manual would have helped.) If your SIM is locked the router will not ask for the pin number to unlock it like a cell phone does. It will simply say "connection failed". Since it was my first time using one of these I was also confused by the "default" Chinese network settings, and whether or not I needed to input my own configuration to connect. I did not need to change anything. All network settings were set to "auto" and once I unlocked my SIM with my cell phone first, I clicked the connect button on the home page, it said "successful" and I had internet service. Signal was also better than my cell phone got. So far so good. Hope this helps.

Reliable outdoor Wi-Fi solution with solid performance using an external antenna
I’ve been using this KuWFi outdoor unit paired with an external antenna, and overall the performance has been very stable. The router handles outdoor conditions well and maintains a consistent connection, even when mounted in an exposed area. With the external antenna connected, signal strength and coverage are noticeably improved compared to indoor equipment or built-in antennas alone. I’m getting better reception and fewer drops, especially over longer distances where walls and outdoor interference usually cause problems. Once the antenna is properly positioned, the connection remains steady. Setup was fairly straightforward, and the device does what it’s designed for without unnecessary complexity. It’s not meant to be a high-end, high-throughput router, but for extending coverage outdoors and maintaining a dependable wireless link, it performs as expected. Overall, this is a solid option if you need an outdoor-rated Wi-Fi device that works well with an external antenna. It delivers consistent results, is built to handle weather exposure, and offers good value for outdoor networking applications.

2 ordered = 2 not working = 2 returns
First ordered didn't work, got a replacement also didn't work. Using T-mobile Sim card, no matter how you configure the APN never got internet. Tried 2 different Sim cards that works for my phones and doesn't have a PIN. Customer service is very bad. Contacted them through email and WhatsApp, takes hours to reply asking me to do troubleshooting steps that already were done. Product Manual is useless as well videos. Working on returning the second one

Works well
Bought for eastern European countryside. Works good so far and is a real improvement compared to mobile phone reception. While mobile phone is able to get unstable 4G only in some spots this one has pretty reliable reception. Didn't need any manual setup for mobile provider. Just inserted sim card and it automatically configured everything. Admin page allows to change wifi settings and admin user& password as well as send and receive sms. No ability to run USSD commands which is fine in my case. Modem has mini USB input but actually it seems that 5V is not enough to power it. Outlet is required

Great product but User Interface needs a little improvement.
To start, I'm referring to the KuWFi model # QC300K-L. I often see reviews that do not match the product. The QC300K-L arrived on time and in perfect condition. Overall it's a very nice LTE router and it works very well. I tested it with a T-Mobile SIM and I was able to pickup a fair signal with "OK" speeds. The only issue is that the user interface does NOT display which band(s) it's locking onto and of course, there is no option to select a band. In addition, there are no provisions to set the TTL (Time To Live) which can come in handy for some carriers. If you don't know about TTL, do a search for more information. The QC300K-L is weather sealed and is supposed to be mountable outside on an antenna mast. I did not test this but it would definitely increase its ability to pickup weaker signals. My concern with mounting it outside is that the plastic used does not look like it will withstand UV and harsh weather conditions for very long. If the UI had the above mentioned features, I would have kept it but decide to return it and get the KuWFi WE826-EP06-A which their support tech indicated has a more advanced UI and I sure hope it does at 2X the cost. I'm still waiting to get it. BTW: Tech support was very responsive and although it was via email, they answered all my questions within a couple of hours. Hope this helps.
