I'm beyond impressed with the few recipes we've tried so far, a delicious turkey sausage recipe that was so spice-tastic and a verde pork recipe that made me frown when the crock pot was empty. The only potential problem I see with this book is being able to maintain portion control when the recipes are just that good! Seriously. I didn't modify the ones I've tried at all and they both turned out marvelous, which is more than I can say for most cookbooks. These were obviously well tested. It's nice to know I can go by the book, finally recipes that will be consistently good. I'm definitely going to look into getting more of her cookbooks.

Tasty and healthy
Very Good cook Book. Great healthy recipes that actually taste good. Most are easy to prepare as well.

Very helpful for me since diagnosed with diabetes.
As a newly diagnosed diabetic I keep looking all over for diabetic cookbooks and lifestyle advice and bought a lot of books and magazines. I tried this one out by borrowing it. I liked it so much I didn't want to give it back, so I bought a copy I didn't have to return. Plus I didn't have to rely on a battery to read it.. The recipes are easily followed, and the advice about lifestyle and what to keep in the pantry are helpful after reading some other books I've bought after being diagnosed that called for complicated high carb ingredients..

A little complicated
I didn't find anything I really wanted to try. Nice pictures and nutrition and carb counts. But weird ingredients I don't buy or have on hand like soy milk, soy yogurt, agave. I understand diabetics need to trim alot from their diet but can also eat low fat milk, yogurt and such.Alot of the recipes were not everyday comfort food. If you are looking for a little complicated and slighty different recipes then this is for you. I prefer taste of home and the eat what you want series.

It was a gift
The book was a gift for a friend who was newly diagnosed with diabetes. The first thing she had thought was that she couldn't eat anything with taste anymore. This book proved differently. It's got a lot of really great recipes that even non diabetics would like. I might try a few myself!

Do I like this book? LOVE IT!!!
`I have purchased over five of the Kitchen Diva's Diabetic Cookbook. The last one was a little more worn than I thought it should as packaging materials creased it. The others I have given to family and friends. Do we like it? Like isn't the word that I would use. I have not heard a negative word and as far as eating some of the recipes they are great.just thought of a need for two more books.

Different but great resource for people with Diabetes
When I got this product today in the mail, I became greatly curious about the recipes in it. I began to thumb through it, and was amazed by the number of things I was told I could not have. However, in this book, they just made them with other items that sounded good. I think my freind will love her book when she gets it in the mail, or should I say, ":when I call her to tell her it's here".
