Hi Crystal.....I kept this product following the directions and it didn't color my hair to the product color. I use hair color to cover my gray and it only made it to a slightly dark brown color. I normally keep hair color on for at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours to make sure it penetrates my hair shaft, but this product was running down my face and neck because of the plastic cap you're supposed to wear. Even after taking the cap off after 5 minutes, the dye kept running and I had to jump up every 3 minutes to wipe it off so it wouldn't drip on the floor and the weather was still pretty cool, so I can't blame it on spring/summer heat. Maybe you would have better luck with it, but I would suggest you sitting on a drop cloth or tarp to limit the mess.

It washes out gradually; so after it washes out your hair should feel as it did before using. Again, it is not permanent and does not chemically change the texture of any hair type, like permanent haircolor does.

This is a HAIR COLOR. Do not use with an bleached hair or hair dyes.
