Ordered this Crossbow just as a plinker, Wow was I surprised when I got it. This is not just a toy, this is most assuredly a weapon that could easily be used for small game hunting or even self defense in a pinch. The accuracy is very good once you dial in he sites, it took about 8 to 12 shots to really get it dead on. The bolts that come with this bow are adequate, I did order a pack of 12 additional bolts at the same time as ordering the bow and they were not as sturdy as the ones that came with the bow. I have read many reviews on various pistol crossbows and bolts, and have come to the conclusion that the reason the bolts aren't lasting but a few shots for others, is that they are not using a proper target to shoot at. I use a Black Hole super dense archery target and didn't break any of the bolts that came with the bow, even after a dozen or so volleys. Unfortunately the pack of bolts I ordered separately only lasted about 3 shots each before breaking the fletching off. Clearly there are cheap bolts to be had if your only spending a few bucks for 12 bolts. All in all, I am very pleased with crossbow and would highly recommend it to anyone for plinking or as I said to hunt small game. Gonna have to keep looking for better bolts for it though, as I am sure I will be going through the ones I have in short order. Hope this helps someone in the decision making process. Cheers All....

This crossbow is better than I expected, and it was a decent price! Its actually pretty powerful, kinda has a small kick to it. Be careful when using this because it will do some damage. Also putting it together is a bit tricky but you can find better instructions on Youtube.

Fair quality product from experience so far instructions are misleading the pictures are of the 50 pound when product is 80 pound thus different design.product performs decently,fairly accurate sights obviously need adjustment but shoots consistently.over all bolts are durable to be constructed of aluminium (durable not indestructible) will perform through multiple shots but will bend if it hits a hard surface at an angle.tips of bolts come loose continuously..lock tight highly suggested. Only concern with bow its self is the cocking mechanism has alot of play and seems slightly flimsy but for the price it performs very well .

Looks cool, except 1:) Bolts were already loose when I opened the box (the tips had to be tightened) 2:) Feels somewhat flimsy 3:) assembly Instructions don’t even match the crossbow 4:) The string is like someone took a bunch of little string, bunched it together, superglued it, and sent it on its way. What’s elasticity? Never heard of it. Sucks that I have to now buy a replacement string for this thing 5:) There are better crossbows on the market. Keep looking

This thing is just too much fun, mind you its no toy it can easily kill so have to be very careful, and it packs a wallop, easy to load the only problem was stringing it..requires two people to string it, not the job of one guy. But once that is done its awesome fun, and very accurate up to 15 yards.

I’ve bought many M48 products in the past and they never disappoint! This is definitely best bang for the buck and easy to use. Be warned this is not a toy! One could really do some damage if not using this with safety in mind. Definitely recommend if looking for a mini crossbow.

Came quick and surprisingly is really nice quality

This product is UNSAFE!!! It has a safety on it that has no detention on it. when you push the safety forward it actually triggers and mis- fires the bolt unexpectedly. The next thing is the sight is a springy royal piece of junk. Other than that it's not bad for standard Taiwan made junk!!
