Hamble Redwood Leisure Cast Iron Barbecue

Great Barbecue lightweight. We have a campervan so things need to be lightweight and easy to store. This was the perfect weight and size..Good value for money not just as sturdy as our last one, but perfect for transporting in the van.

Found it easy to put together. Met my expectations and good value. Easy in use and found it easy to produce great BBQ food straight away. At the highest position cooking steady and gentle. So far great steak as well as usuals if sausages beefburgers. Fruit ( melon sections and pineapple slices as well as halloumi also easy to cook. REALLY GOOD.

The instructions for the BBQ leave a little to be desired, but after a bit of fiddling about it works out OK. The construction is also not all it could be - a little flimsy. However, it BBQs well, is great for up to 4 people and you don't wait ages for it to heat up ready for cooking.

This is the 4th one love them we bbq a lot and it is idea for camping the whole thing fits into a builders bucket when travelling

I am English and by nature of my breed I do not like to cause a fuss or complain, but honestly, after having owned so many pot belly bbq over the years I am compelled to comment.Firstly, a cast iron bbq it is not, well, the grill maybe, but the body is thin lightweight pressed steel. The ones I used to buy were cast iron and were considerably thicker and heavier.Secondly, no matter how I tried to assemble the holders for the grill I could not get it to line up, the design is useless, back in the day of true cast pot belly bbq I even had one with a snapped guide that lines up perfectly.And thirdly, the base of the belly should be a grill to let air through, this has a silly plate with holes, so you can’t light a fire in the bottom chamber.Utter rubbish, but I suppose it does still cook the odd sausage.

Not cast iron.Only cooking grill is cast iron.Wooden handle came apart on first use as only pinned together not screwed.Contacted seller and no reply.Not satisfied with product description or service.Would not recommend to anyone.

Fantastic service and delivery, I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and managed to put it together with only a little help. :) Perfect for social bbqs and kicks out enough heat for everyone to sit around late into the evening. Will not last long if you leave it outside but who cares, its cheap enough to replace each summer!
