This was amazing. I bought it for my Son for Christmas and had it delivered to him. It arrived on time in excellent condition and the quality and craftsmanship were exceptional. It’s beautiful and very sturdy.

This is really nice! It was easy to assemble and looks like it was much more expensive. It is truly a unique piece.

The media could not be loaded. It was easy to put together, though you do need your own flathead screwdriver. It looks so good from across the room! It's got good capacity and moves easy across the floor.The top spins, but not the bottom, so that's kind of weird. In my opinion it would be better if both or neither of them can spin. As it is, the hemispheres get misaligned each time that I open the top because it spins so easy.The only thing that is a big downside, though, is that there are some spots where the globe lines don't match up correctly, so that's a bit of a bummer that on close inspection it looks like a $20 globe instead of $200.

I love this globe. Looks exactly in real life as it does in the picture. Assembly was no hassle -- I was able to complete it with a broken foot. The alignment of the globe with the track on which it rests isn't entirely perfect, so one time I closed it, a wine glass broke. Also, there is no way to align the northern hemisphere with the southern hemisphere permanently, so land shifts do occur and you have to readjust. Other than that, it's beautifully made, large enough to store 9-12 bottles of liquor (and some glasses), and easy to assemble.

As several reviews have noted this item is quite easy to put together - roughly 10 minutes. It does what it is meant to do which is house liquor. Several reviews noted the subpar quality and the map alignment issues so I am not complaining about those since I knew the risks going in. The key reason I am disappointed is with the height of the item. I'm 6'1 so right around average height for a guy and this unit is crazy small/short. I was shocked at how small this unit looks when it is all assembled and racked with bottles. Not a deal breaker but this should help readers understand what to expect.

I purchased this bar globe for my husband for christmas. He had been fascinated by one he sees in our attorneys office for years, but I always thought the price would have been way out of my league, so I never thought twice about purchasing one for him. I found many on Amazon from many different companies, so I wasn't sure which manufacturer to go with. I'm so pleased I chose Toscano Design company. When he opened the box, it seemed like there might be a challenge building it, however, once its all laid out, it couldn't be easier! It took 7 minutes and no cuss words. :) The bar is fascinating while the lid is closed, and when its opened up its even more elaborate and exquisite. There is plenty of room for stemware, shot glasses, cordial glasses, whatever your desire, as well as 3 bottles in the center part of the globe. Underneath the globe there is also plenty of more storage, I'd say enough room for 9 more bottles. It even fits our large decanter, which is now displayed in this beautiful piece. I'd go as far as saying its like a piece of furniture on wheels so you can wheel it to wherever the party is happening. I noticed this company had the same thing "made in Italy". If you can afford it, get that one, however, I purchased the one made in China because of the lower price tag, and couldn't be happier with my decision. It is truly a beautiful addition. It is the type of item that will be an inheritance piece, as many have already made their claim on it! If they only knew how affordable it is, they would be purchasing their own. I don't tell them the price. I just let them think we paid alot :)

We a bit nervous after ordering. Photo on website looked good, but photos can lie. Actual piece is very nice. Not real cherry wood, but a nice simulated finish. The decals on the globe don't perfectly match, so if you look closely at the globe, there are places where the panels are off by a quarter inch or so. As a working globe this would be a show stopper, but it's only evident if you are trying to use it as a globe. As a piece of eye-candy, it works very well. Very nice looking.Capacity wise, I have one or two unusually shaped bottle that won't fit inside the globe, but they sit undeneath in the rack. Holds about 4-5 bottles of liquor inside globe and about six underneath. There is a row for glassware that holds about 6-8 glasses. Don't really drink wine, so can't speak to the capacity for wine glasses.Easy assembly, but you will need a bladed screw driver and a small wrench which are not included.
