Global TrussVideo Screen/Back Drop

Global Truss always makes great stuff, considering they're an auspice of the Elation / American DJ / American Audio family of professional event products- needless to say after comparing this screen to countless other ones by Odyssey it was clear that I'd go with this one instead since it had slightly larger dimensions (8 x 10 max) and was from a more trustworthy brand in my opinion.Well, turns out I was right for the most part. The Screen arrived even before my Truss system (the Light Bridge One) and proved perfectly functional with a few speaker stands I had in the meantime. The included bungees are made out of surgical tubing and work fairly well considering, while the clips are too small to clip on to certain cross braces they are just wide enough to wrap a piece of the bungee through ensuring you can secure them to just about any kind of pole-like surface.With this screen I began experimenting with rear projection, which I've found yields very rich colors and especially bright images using this screen- however, this screen is actually transparent enough to transmit light in an almost unadulterated form which means if you're setting it up to show something make sure you set the projector either above or below the screen's field of view: otherwise you're going to get a gnarly headache from watching that bright spot of light.All and all the screen is quite the performer, amazing considering it's made of the same stuff my bating suit is made out of. Hopefully I can care for it the same way, because sadly I've found that insects are quite fond of the screen when it's deployed outside- and they do seem to enjoy defecating on it during an afternoon screening. Eventually I'll have to find out just how to wash it and care for it, because there's no instructions. Otherwise it's a fantastic screen with it's own smell and texture.With a carrying case and form factor perfect for most mobile DJ's and projectionists out there.

Worked great and looks good. Even without using all of the attachment points it still didn't have any ripples in it.
