Peugeot - Paris u'Select Manual Salt Mill - Adjustable Grinder - Beechwood, Natural

I’ve been through numerous battery operated grinders for salt and pepper, so I figured I’d go back to manual. This one definitely grinds more efficiently, but still not perfect…however, I am much happier with the options available out there. I was thinking of getting the bigger one. On This smaller one, sometimes if you don’t grip it in the middle, you wind up changing the grind size. But like I said, much better than the electronic ones I’ve used

The salt chamber is too small in diameter for the rock salt I can find. The size that is available to me is large enough that it jams once every filling. I know I've seen salt the right size that was dyed and flavored and very special I'm sure but it was in some trendy store and I don't see me and there together again.

I bought the Peugeot Paris salt and pepper mills because my old pepper mill had stopped working, and I wanted a matching set. It wasn't until these arrived that I understood how bad my old set was. My salt and pepper are now ground perfectly to just the grain size I like, and the mills look beautiful on my table. I highly recommend Peugeot Paris mills.

Fantastic craftsmanship and this particular model fits our hands (my wife and my own) perfectly for a great, smooth and ergonomical use each every time. We love the adjustable settings for the coarseness and the ability to easily fill each grinder.

Bought this because I LOVE LOVE LOVE my pepper grinder, but I read you had to buy the specific salt grinder because the pepper grinder would not grind salt. I don't think it grinds as well as my pepper grinder, but it does the trick and I love Peugeot, so it's a keeper.

I'm hoping I like this better after the humidity of the summer goes away. I bought it as a mate for the pepper mill just like. I've had that for years and it still works well. My other salt mill, meanwhile, pooped out--it stopped grinding. So I thought I'd try this one.Oddly, there is a plastic ring inside the bottom, and the salt seems to cling to it. Perhaps I need to adjust to a coarser grind. But meanwhile it has been unsatisfactory.

Not very good. Only bought it in October and the salt grains have now started coming out of the bottom unground. And I am using the right kind of salt. Very expensive, thought this would be high quality but it’s not really.

Reçus avec le mécanisme piqué de rouille, le bois vermoulu sur la base, la bague de la base fissurée comme déjà mentionné dans d'autres commentaires (bien que non cassée), et la vis du dessus remplacée par un bouton indiquant un «S» que n'a jamais eu Peugeot. Résultat : retour à l'envoyeur. J'en ai racheté de vrais, neufs, à la boutique «Du bruit dans la cuisine». Pour le même prix.

A Amazon le pongo una porque veo que lleva quejandose la gente desde 2014 de que le llega el molinillo de sal y en 2021 sigue ocurriendo lo mismo. Lo he comprado pensando que era el de pimienta y me ha llegado el de sal, evidentemente lo he devuelto.Señores de Amazon, ¿no sería más facil para todos que los anuncios tuvieran la descripción, modelo y fotos bien explicado? Muchas veces hay que hacer verdaderas virguerias para encontrar lo que buscas.

In the past I had plenty of bad experiences with cheap pepper and salt mills that either stop grinding properly after a while, or that never really grind and just get on my nerves. So I once took a leap of faith and bought one of these. Wow, what a difference. They really work very nicely, and after 5 years of conitnual usage my first Peugeot pepper mill is still as good as new.Good:- durability- easy to change the granularity of the grinding- good size to have at the table or in the kitchenBad- the opening to re-fill is a tad narrow.I was so impressed by it - and so was a relative - that I decided to buy a salt mill for myself, and give the salt+pepper mills to the said relative as a present.
