It's a "FUN" read!
As an avid reader and one who is intensely interested in health and healing, I was eager to read Pragmatic Psychology.Furthermore, having been recently introduced to the Access Consciousness program, I looked forward to learning more about the tools that program offers and the facilitators who use these practical tools. What I had not anticipated was the sheer enjoyment that met me on every page! Susanna sprinkled humor and love; she made clearing statements, meant to help the reader understand better what was being presented. The pure, unadulterated joy that exudes from the author just made reading her book beyond fun!The section that was of ultimate importance to me was the one about Autism. We have Autism in our family and what Susanna shared about that helped me so much it has been incredible. Her words gave me insights about Autism that were completely unfamiliar to me. AND HER IDEAS WERE SO EASY TO FOLLOW AND IMPLEMENT!It is not often that a little paperback book can change a life or the way one lives. But Pragmatic Psychology really did that for me. I am grateful for the contribution that Susanna and her book has made to the world. It is really fun to drop the judgments and lies we have carried throughout life and just BE.~Connie Baum

Relief for mental health sufferers and their families!
As a mental health nurse and mother of an adult son with schizophrenia, this book has brought relief for us both. Susanna's familiarity with both traditional mental health treatments and cutting edge energetic processes allows her to bring an entirely new perspective to an arena commonly fraught with stigma, negativity, and even despair. She shifts the outlook from "problem" to "possibility" and shares her techniques to allow us to do the same. She presents it in an easy to understand style that is full of her usual lightness and joy! After reading it myself I gave to my son who devoured it from cover to cover. He told me he felt like it was written for him and has taken his personal journey of recovery on a new, more positive path. I can heartily recommend this book to all who crave a new approach to old problems. It's with a warning though- it may turn your assumptions up side down and perhaps even change your life! Thank-you Susanna!

How to change everything with simple questions.
Susanna Mittermaier I have to tell you that I just finished your book, Pragmatic Psychology, and I have a funny story. I was so enthralled with reading it that I couldn't wait to turn the page and at the same time I didn't want it to end so I was reading slower (is that a "good" polarity?).I sensed that the chapters were in a chronology that really flowed well. The tools were introduced with a clarity that I have not read before. This book will make your life so easy! It's amazing and fun. This book will be a great tool to introduce some psychologists I know, to Access, with ease. Thank you SO MUCH for your contribution! Ready for change?
In this book Susanna gives great practical effective everyday tools that are easy accessible and life changing. How can it get any better than that?Susanna is one of those rare birds that has a Psychological background so she is pragmatic and has been involved in the more traditional way of approaching a "problem" and now is illuminating this new way of understanding. Getting to who you truly be, beyond labels, diagnosis's and other people's stuff. As a practitioner I can say she is magnificent! Her book led me to work with her as a private client. So much fun and I gained so much awareness.

This book can change your life
Working in the field of psychiatry I find that this book offers a brand new way of looking at fellow human beings with a psychiatric diagnose. Mittermaier's approach create possibilities and open up for amazing changes, not only for people we have decided have "disabilities" but for all of us. You can read about tools and stories from real life. You can go practice it immediately. Mittermaier is a great facilitator of her message. The first Psychology book where Joy and Energy is beaming out from between the lines!

Loved this book!
Susanna is succinct in her explanation of and application of the Access Consciousness. It reinforces more and more that feeling "light" about yourself and your choices IS the guide for what is right for yourself. I have learned over the years that my oval peg doesn't need to fit into a square or round hole, and it is refreshing to have someone affirm that I already know what I need to know, I knew that:-)
