PERFECT for painting knobs, hindges, etc. JUST MAKE SURE TO VENTILATE!
Amazing, amazing stuff. Make sure you clear and prepare your surface. I was painting brass door knobs, hindges, latches, etc. Multiple coats and let it CURE. You would never know the old knobs were brass underneath. Took them from 10 years old to looking brand new, without flaking, chipping, etc. I suggest multiple coats for heavy use areas. But for an old lamp. 2 coats and done and no need for primer, etc.

I know that this primer will hold up much better than regular primer.
I used this self etching primer to repaint a previously very rusty tricycle. The adhesion was much better than regular primer alone under the finish coat. I know this paint job will hold up much longer with a good base.

Great worth the money
The coverage was great and still have half a can left after painting the front bumper of my truck. Worth the extra cash.

Not impressed
I followed all directions and feel I over killed prep. Doesn’t bond as well as I hoped.Got a much better product cheaper from Lowe’s.

Etching on chrome bumper
Etching on chrome bumper after sanding. Works well. Larger can is a plus

Great primer for chrome. It bites very well.
The only complaint is that as you spray, it splatters onto the surface. Requires spots to have to sand after a dries. Needs improvement on spray tip.

Zero Adhesion, waste of money
Total Garbage, no adhesion integrity on AL that was well sanded and cleaned with denatured alcohol to eliminate any possibility of contaminates. This is etching primer? ahh, no. After a week of drying/curing, paint flakes off (see pix). Had to entire remove primer with all hardware and totally start over again. Don't waste your money here, Used VHT paint/primer instead & worked 100X better alone - excellent finish and does not come off even on corners.
