6 months and holding strong!
I purchased two of these bottles in July before school started. My five year old daughter goes to a low waste school, so students are required to bring their own water bottle and are discouraged from using anything disposable. The 12 oz bottle fits perfectly in my daughter's crocodile creek lunchbox along with a sandwich holder, a milk and some snacks. It also fits in the water bottle pocket on the side of her backpack. The bottle is wide, so it is easy for my daughter to fill it herself, and she sometimes needs to do this at the school water fountain in the summer. A grownup helps screw on the lid, and we have have never had a leak. After six months both of the plastic mud caps had cracked because my daughter is rough on things - always dropping them. The bottle itself is completely dent free, so I went to the company's website, emailed them, and they offered to send me new mud caps for free. I was able to pop off the old ones and put on the new ones in a few seconds, and now both bottles look brand new. At first, the new mud caps were very difficult to close because of the tight fit. I had to place both my hands over the top of the mud cap and push straight down to close them properly. However, once I did this a few times, the plastic reshaped ever so slightly and they are now easy to close. I have two of these bottles and she takes one to school everyday, so I typically hand wash them. But I have thrown them in the dishwasher too without any problem. They easily fit on the top shelf and if I position the top right I can get it clean without removing the mud cap each time. When these bottles wear out I will not hesitate to buy more!

and I think this is my favorite so far
I've tried quite a few stainless steel water bottles for my kids, and I think this is my favorite so far. The one and only downside that I've found is that there's a really thin silicone gasket where the lid meets the bottle, and when I remove it for cleaning (which I have to do every so often or mold becomes a problem) it's really kind of tough to get back in place. It takes me probably five minutes to get it to lay flat in its place like it's supposed to. If the gasket isn't in properly, the cup definitely leaks. That being said, though, this water bottle is easy for my kids to use & as long as the gasket is in place there's never been any leaking.

Was great until the gasket was lost...
The super-fine, thin little translucent silicone gasket that fits inside lid was lost, likely during cleaning... now it leaks like crazy! Contacted manufacturer in hopes of purchased a replacement gasket (they sell an entire lid, but would rather avoid the waste) - no luck. Might buy a lid anyway.... we really like the cup for the week it was functioning.

Not worth the money - lids not durable
I bought 3 of these for my kids (ages 7, 5, & 4). Two of the three lids broke in the first day of use. They’re still functional, but one leaks because of it. I definitely would pay to buy these again. There are better options out there.

Perfect for 3 yr olds preschool lunchbox
I was looking for something that was easy enough for my 3 year old to open on her own, but also wouldn't spill or leak all over. The "grip" around the center makes it easy to hang onto, and also keeps it from being too cold on the hands like lots of stainless steel water bottles do. Love this water bottle and have bought another one for my 18 month old, who wants to do everything her sister does.

but I'm glad I did
My son likes to chew on the caps and straws on the sport bottles. This one has held up very well to his destructive habit! I was hesitant to spend the extra money on something I thought he would chew apart, but I'm glad I did!

Unsure about longevity
I bought two of these for my two year olds. They learned quickly how to open and use them. One of them started leaking within weeks so probably wouldn't buy again. The other one works fine.

Pensavo molto meglio...
Speravo decisamente meglio.
