I am wheelchair bound and find this an essential piece of kit.This is much more sturdy than two trigger grabbers that preceded it. That does make it a little heavier though - this is a robust piece of aluminium.The jaws move a little slower than a trigger grip, but grip with much more force. It also has proper rubber around the jaws.I can pick up a tin of soup or beans easily with this. I can also pick up a small bear buttle with a bit more effort (glass is more slippery). It's perfectly sized for this, most grabbers are useless for cans.Picking up heavier loads at a distance does need two hands, one to steady the pole, the other to grip.All in all a really good grabber. You might also want a lighter trigger grip one for pucking up slimmer objects like a mobile phone.

This is a great pick upnot ideal if you have arthritis in your handsbecause you need a little strength in your arms and hands to use it because it's made of metalrather than those flimsy plastic onesso regarding my arthritis I still use it it's really goodand it will pick up mostly anything but very difficult to pick up a mobile phone lolalthough these are really designed for litter pickers rather than for disabled people but regardless is strong and it will last

Initially purchased to tidy up my garden after the gales, this super-long apparatus also found many uses round da hoose! My kitten plays with toys she leaves in akward places... So reaching out to them has become easier! And it can pick up tiny things too behind furnitures too! Its rubber grips are excellent. Just wish the head could be pivoting... Still need to try it to pick rubbish outside, though expected to be reliable.

I used these to help me get loft insulation into the corners and the held up and are still working! I am certain that was heavier than their intended use, but I chose these as they seemed stronger than others and I am extremely chuffed that they survived.They may not be the most comfortable to use and the grip of objects may not be safe for valuable breakables, but I think they are quite strong.

Hanging part of handle was broken, should be made of stronger plastic, but did not affect operating of gripper which is good, nice wide plastic covered metal jaws, time will tell if plastic gripper handle is up to the job, room for improvement there, as it is quite expensive.

It was easy to use and as I am tall was good, as I did not have to bend down to get to pick up things things. Very useful as just had a hip operation and enabled me to put on my clothes when was unable to ben down at all. It was sturdy too with good rubber grippers on the tips.

This is a good sturdy item that looks as if it will outlast some of the more flimsy ones we've had in the past. My wife and I both have back problems and we use grabbers all the time to pick stuff up off the floor etc and these are the best we've had. Because they are good and strong they are a touch heavier than most, but not excessively so.

Useful tool . Have used it for reaching down the backs of stuff to retrieve items . Also good for in the garden reaching up high to pull down soft branches for pruning .
