Had this in 3 yr old house, and it started strobing. exact replacement fixed this

Easy install
Got two for over our new walk in shower. Modified old can lights. Look great, however-the gasket pushes the unit down so there appears to be a small gap with the ceiling-there isn’t, it’s the shadow of the gasket. No one notices but me and not a big deal. I like this sealed unit way better than the open with a light bulb. Adjustable warmth is nice, just had to make both the same. Very very nice product

Metal construction should help with heat dissipation if you're using in a non- airconditioned area.
I bought this for a protected but external area on my house after the last LED lights I'd bought both failed after a year or so. I am in South Texas so the ambient temperature gets into the high 90s or higher for half the year, and this really seems to kill LED lights with no way of venting the heat generated. This one is all metal, so I hope will help.I will update after a year.....

So easy!
I love this thing! My old shower light died and the frame broke into pieces when removing the bulb. Found this to replace it. If you have a can light with the friction spring clips which most do, you can change this out in minutes. If you don't, it also has the extra hardware to mount it anywhere. I don't have it on a dimmer so I can't comment about that, but the adjustable color temperature is really nice. If you're a cool white / daylight person though, there is only one setting for that. The other settings are all various degrees of warm white.

6-pack with one defective.
One out of the six had the wrong connector installed. I returned one expecting a single replacement fixture but instead got another package of six fixtures. So unless I return 5 of the 6 I get charged for the additional 5. Not a great system.

Awesome light
This light is awesome! I haven't wanted to replace our can light for like 2 years. This was the best and easiest option I found. We installed it in like 2 minutes. It puts off great light and was exactly the right size. This was definitely the best bang for my buck! I definitely suggest this light and if I ever need another I would get this again.

Finally a “Daylight” fixture!
You would think it wouldn’t be as hard with the advancement of light fixtures, but it was really hard to find a fixture that was “wet area” graded, had the adapter installation, and was daylight lighting. I looked for weeks and even had a failed order before this one came up. I am so happy with this fixture and excited that we no longer have daylight on one side of the bathroom and yucky soft white / yellow on the second half above our shower. The install is super easy and as previous reviews point out, there are multiple mounting options.
