CAT 6 Extender Works Great!
Connecting CAT 6 cable to CAT 5 works just fine. You are only getting CAT 5 speed though.

10/10 Good in my book.
Not very educated in network stuff, but I was able to game with this. Between my budget monitor, Wi-Fi extender, and poor skills I did not win. Cable feels good and network speed is good. Overall 10/10. Works well, can’t blame this for my bad reaction time.

This is a great quality product that performs well
I will apparently be working from home for a long time so I had to make an office in the back of my house, where the Wifi is poor and won't work for video conferences, and the large files that I work with, so I hard wired ethernet to the office with a cable and I estimated a bit short as I couldn't run the cable straight, so I bought this cable to make the distance and it is a nice quality looking cable, and it works great, good bandwidth, no problems at all.

Extended solar panel Cat 5 cable with this, ran it through a tight space, and it didn't break
I got this when I got new internet service, and the router was far away from the solar energy panel. I needed a bit of extension cable, and I plugged this in. It works fine, the signal is coming through. I also had to squeeze it through a tight hole in the floor, involving pushing and pulling really hard, and tweezers. It didn't break under the strain, so I reckon it's pretty tough.
