Yes, they work well and clean inside and out. But good lord! What an awful mess the whole procedure is. God help you if your tumbler messes the bed, even if that doesn’t happen dealing with the liquid toxic waste, hunting down the zillions of pins and praying they dont go down the kitchen sink, enduring the accusatory glares from your wife while you use the dishes, strainer, and oven, and so on. No, a magnet doesn’t make this all go away because that is simply required table stakes. I try and buy new brass because of this. I do recommend them but also extend my sympathy. Better you than me!

Great quality as always and was slightly over weight so that is a bonus as well

Just tried it today on my tumbling media steel pins and a variety of other objects. Everything worked as described. The only complain I have is the handle. Sometimes it does not pull up smoothly. A thin layer of grease fixed it.

I purchased this to go along with my Frankford Arsenal wet rotary tumbler - to separate the stainless steel polishing media/rods. Once you understand the limitations and best methods for use... it does alright. First and foremost - this is NOT water tight. Do NOT submerge this in even 1" of water to pull up the SS media! Water will get inside and rust the innards and/or spill over your drying area as you try to remove the media. Pour out ALL the water you can from the plastic catch bucket(s) BEFORE using this magnet to pick up the media. The metal cap on the end of the magnet body has about a 3/8" tall side wall (lip).... any water deeper than that and you get it inside the device (it ISN'T easy to get out). I also learned the media magnetizes very quickly - which is a pain since they want to stick to each other. So - I use my hands and/or a plastic scoop to collect and transfer as much media as possible manually, before using the magnet to pick up the remainder. Also, because the cap is metal, media will sometimes stick to the bottom and sides (that 3/8" lip) - so be sure to wipe off those areas when "dumping" the media, or you will wind up spilling a lot. No matter how careful, you always wind up spilling some of the tiny SS media rods. The magnet works wonders cleaning up the work area and picking up spills that sometimes you don't even see. I 'sweep' the area after I'm done just to catch escapees... and I always find some.

Works well. good value, strong enough wish it was a bit bigger but works on pins and anything else ferrous.

These stainless steel (magnetic) pins are great for wet media tumbling to clean brass for reloading. You may need two containers depending on the size of your tumbler and/or the amount of brass you plan to run through each cycle. Handy note - these little things can get everywhere and like to bounce/roll, so getting a magnet catch/release tool will make your life less chaotic. LoL

This functioned like it should - but you have to know how it works and what it is supose to do!

Limpian bien, el tamaño es ideal porque así se meten en los recovecos de las piezas a limpiar; como punto negativo diría que son un poco abrasivos y eliminan el brillo, dejando la superficie muy mate
