Altec Lansing Mini H2O - portable speakers (Wired & Wireless, Battery, Bluetooth/3.5 mm, Universal, Rectangle, Blue)

Really good speaker. A lot louder than I thought it would be

I bought this speaker in a grey colour a few years ago on a stop over in the US. I was really surprised with how loud it is for something so small. I was so happy with it that I bought another one the next time I was back & often link both of them to my phone via bluetooth at the same time. I also use it in the shower to play music or listen to podcasts and I never miss a word. I have them around 2 or 3 years now and they're still perfect. No issues woth them dropping the signal, glitching, nothing of the sort. I highly recommend them.

I managed to pick one of these up at TK Chav for £20. The speaker is very compact and charges moderately quickly. Sound quality at most volume levels is good, easily good enough to be used around the house while doing chores, audible over boiling kettle, extractor fan etc. It's also waterproof so good for the shower. I haven't used it at high volume as I'm not a teenager on a bus. There are only 2 negatives. Firstly, it sometimes doesn't pair properly and only plays at low volume. Thus is usually easily resolved on second or third attempts. Secondly, the chirpy female American voice that states 'Welcome to Altec Lansing' at startup, and 'You are now paired!' is really loud and a bit annoying!

Good sound, reasonable price

Awesome little speaker, I use daily. The sound is actually really good considering how small the speaker is. Another thing I love is that it is waterproof so it’s perfect for camping,hiking, etc. I especially love how it can clip to your belt or bag for easy listening. It also can float in the water!

I LOVE this tiny speaker so much! It’s bright aqua with light rubberizing on the back and the sides. The speaker is metal. It’s a ton of clear sound—I listen to audiobooks, and it’s difficult to find a speaker that’s clear for individual voices. This one is working out so well already! I just got it today and have been using it since I broke it out of the box.

Update Dec 14/21: I have since purchased a new wireless Bluetooth speaker from Superstore since I was on holiday and didn't bring this one with me. It was about $20 I think, it's waterproof, and it does not have the same delay issues as I mentioned below. Changed my 4 star to a 2 star rating because of that. JAM Chill Out speaker is the new one I purchased for anyone interested. Good sound quality for my use. Original review: Aug 1, 2021: Bought the speaker mainly to use as a computer speaker without wires so I could place it anywhere and also use it with my phone or another Bluetooth devices. The speaker quality itself seems good for the price. However when listening to YouTube music with videos I noticed there is a delay between the video and when you hear the sound from the speaker. Same issue when using my phone as with my computer. If you are only listening, great option. If you wish to watch videos as well, not a good option. Battery seems good. Not sure exactly how long I've used for but still on it's first initial charge.

La verdad es que no era lo que yo andaba buscando, pues quería un aparato que me reproduzca radio y lo devolví, pero se me hizo bien, ya que era pequeño y con buen sonido
