Hada Labo Tokyo Super Hydrator Lotion, Fragrance Free, 150 ml

I first saw this lotion in Good Morning, and was impressed with the result and thought I would look into it and decided to buy it. It does as they say it would.It is a little expensive but the good thing is that you only need to apply a very small amount. It leaves the skin feel really smooth and provides a glow.Works brilliant as a base for your make-up as well.Overall cannot go wrong with this product.

Brilliant product. Good value for money and in a league of its own. Super hydrating, quickly absorbed (under or over other products or make up) and no tacky residue. A new must have for me

Delivery / Safety seal: I saw several reviews saying that the hygiene seal was broken on the product when it was delivered and this made me wary of buying it. However, I followed the link to the correct Amazon page from beauty writers online and was certain that I was buying a genuine product so I went ahead and bought it. I was happy that the safety seal on my bottle was in tact when I opened the package, however I would note that the seal is not strong and looked almost ready to break. One very slight twist of the cap broke the seal when I opened it. I can't speak for other people's items but from mine I think it could be the case that any safety seals were broken during delivery rather than because they had not been sealed before dispatch, or pre-used. That set my mind at ease somewhat and I would be less wary about repurchasing.Product: I'm very pleased with the product itself. I am prone to adult acne so very wary about trying new products, especially anything with a potential to be pore clogging (as some moisturising products can be). Can't say anything about long-term effects on my skin but I can say that it was not broken me out at all after several uses; it is good for putting over an active product like Vitamin C which still makes my skin tingle a lot when used: the hyaluronic acid lotion immediately calmed my skin; it is absorbed almost immediately and leaves no sticky residue.Overall I'm happy with the product. I prefer it to brands I've tried like The Ordinary because of the price / volume of this product and the complete lack of stickiness. Very quickly after putting it on I'm ready to put my SPF on top and I think I could go ahead and put makeup straight on top if I weren't putting on the SPF.

Purchased after seeing a review by Nadine Baggot. It's got a watery consistency that disappers. Doesn't pill under suncream. You get a lot of product compared to other brands, for the price. Doesn't feel tacky like others either. For daytime, I only use this followed by sunscreen. I find my skin feels adequately moisterized. Because it's affordable, I don't feel guilty being liberal and taking it down the neck and sometimes also on the hands before lotion :) I also got the night cream, which I apply after this serum at night. I didn't get the serum with the ceramides as I'm getting those in the night cream. Could recommend the same if you're trying the brand out. Get this serum for the day, and the night cream to go after for night. I wish they had a suncream, would definitely purchase it.BUT, just like other reviewers have mentioned, it came with the seal and cap broken. I kept it as couldn't bother with returns process.

I've used a wide variety of hyaluronic serums ranging from The Ordinary to Drunk Elephant (admittedly I've never forked out to the extent of Dr Barbara Sturm), but I love this. As I understand it this is a mix of several different grades of hyaluronic acid which is exclusive to Hada Labo. It comes in a handy pump so no faffing about with droppers and a nice thin serum that doesn't pill or roll. I notice a real difference in my skin and its hydration.

I am sooo happy with my order...It arrived super fast and I am very satisfied with the product. It's my first time trying Hada Labo products and I am impressed. It really hydrates your skin and it's visible after the first application. My skin looks amazing after using it. Very good choice and very good price for the quality offered.

My skin loves japanese products and this was disappointing. My package was slightly squashed so I thought this was why the lid had 'popped off'. I became concerned when the pump instantly dispensed product without priming, as if it had been used already. Then the product itself was very, very watery and completely clear. I'm sure the consistency is usually more runny then watery and very slightly opaque.Then I saw many others had commented they received product unboxed and with broken seals. Unable to be able to return product due to having to shield at this time, it went in the bin.

I bought this instead of my usual product to try it, because it seemed to be the same, just packaged with instructions and ingredients in English, it came intact with no faults in the packaging security seal.Only reason I gave it 3 instead of 5 stars is it does not seem to be as good as the Rohto Hadarabo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Moisture Lotion, which I usually use.
