Blue Bear 605 Pro Coatings Remover - 5 Gallon Pail (640 oz)

I have been in the hardwood flooring, sanding, and refinishing business for 38 years. Typically in the past we would walk into a job that has had glued down carpet on top of an old pine or oak floor and we would say rip it out and replace it with new flooring or we would go through roughly $1000 in sandpaper just to get to the wood. I bought this product.L we put it on with a soft bristle car cleaning type brush 12 inches wide. we let it sit for two hours and then came back with full length standup 5 inch wide floor scrapers and took the glue and what was left of parts of Carpet Binding off the floor fairly easily. The area that we did 900 ft.² and three guys and it took (2) us roughly 5 hours to get it clean enough that we could use our flooring Sanders. In the long run, I had roughly. $700 in the material and labor.

I was looking for a biodegradable concrete paint stripper to remove strain from my 2-year concrete patio and came across your products. I ordered a sample of the 600GL and upon testing it in a small area, the results weren’t entirely satisfactory. Then learned about your 605PRO, and since it was a new product, I assumed it was an improved version of the 600GL. I confidentially ordered a 5-gallon of the 605PRO from Amazon and enthusiastically waited for its delivery as I had high hopes for this product. I put a thick layer (over ¼ inches) in the concrete, covered it with painting plastic sheets, and anxiously waited for 24 hours. Then, I uncovered it and noticed that absolutely no paint had been removed at all. I covered it again de decided to wait longer. After 32 hours, I came to the conclusion this product doesn’t deliver on its promise. It does NOT remove paint from concrete despite of your company’s claim. I am sending you this review as a feedback and to give you an opportunity to respond. I am planning to post the same review at Amazon to help consumers, like myself, who spent almost $300 on an ineffective product.

I was very disappointed in this paint remover. I allowed plenty of time to work (24 hours) and scrubbed it in followed by power washing at close range (several hours). I have used their mastic remover in the past with outstanding results however this one simply didn't work. Project was basement floor paint, latex and oil type.

Works great on single stage auto paints. Brush on a thick coat, cover with plastic, and it lifts the old paint easily.

Did not remove or move anything! Total waste of money. Requested a return and was given a label to return,Shipped it back and seller refused to reimburse anything. $300.00 waste. Save your money!

I followed the directions to the letter. Mixed the stripper well, applied a thick coat, waited several hours for the paint to crack and buckle. Only a slight amount of paint on the edges of the deck boards came loose. This deck has only a thin coat of water-based grey paint. I thought stripping it would be easy. Now all I have is a mess of goo to clean up while I look for a product that works.
