Soft wet suit like material, black out properly works too. Cosy as a pig in you know
Brought 1 for my partner just to be walmer, very easy to slide the bed tent up the mattress, also the 3 poles are easy to install. The material is quite soft.. useing the entrance at the head end, the pole in the middle makes it hard for a adult to get in, therse no room to swing your leggs in, due to the zip only going as far as the middle pole.. also if you use the foot end side doors as an adult it's sketchy, trying to get in and move up the bed, then turn to sit up, back down the bed, zip up, back up the bed. Nice quality made, abit like a soft wet suit material.. I had the bedroom light on and when putting the poles in on the inside, I had to use a torch to see inside so the black out works. If your fit and able it's 100 percent for you if your after a bed tent. Me and my partner both have issues health wise and we managed ok, just sketchy the first fue times till your brain gets around it. I paid £125 for mine but there was the same item for £180 that some one had returned and I got it new, undamaged ect for £125 so scan the page lol

Good quality and very effective
This bed tent exceeded expectations. It's been a game-changer in terms of helping the child it was bought for feel calm and sleep well and it's quite high-quality in respect to fabric and structure - I thought it would be flimsier and with more plasticky material, but it feels more like fabric and is more breathable than I feared. It can get quite warm is some of the flaps are down/zipped up, but that's just in the nature of bed tents.

Great for autistic children.
This has been absolutely perfect for my autistic 4 yr old, she loves bedtime now and gives me a little peace of mind that she won't go walkies in the middle of the night. Its a good quality, well made product, it has mesh openings that can be zipped closed for total darkness, some thought has gone into making this. For those of you with autistic children this is a much much cheaper alternative to the special made bed enclosure that cost a kidney or 2. Only reason I'm not giving the full 5 stars is because it would be useful to have a small mesh style opening at the top too, so that you could point a baby camera at it, other than that I can't really fault it.

Well made and easy to put up
I wanted to get this for my son. He loves camping and snuggling in his safe space. In fits perfectly in his UK single sized bed frame. I put it up at lunchtime and my son has been in it the whole day since. The quality is nice. It looks and feels reassuringly well made. I was a bit concerned that I wouldn’t have space to put the poles in because his room is rather tiny, but it wasn’t a problem. The poles are folded quite small so you can easily unfold a bit more until the whole pole is in.

Highly recommend
I co sleep with my autistic 2 year old and this is absolutely brilliant. It gives me piece of mind that he is safe as he loves to stand up on the bed early hours or run across it when I'm sleeping. Now I sleep so much better and don't panic with every slight movement. So easy to set up too

Pitch black
Love it, I work nights so the extra darkness and privacy to get a good sleep is amazing.

Sort of works, but maybe not the best solution for better sleep
I've been trying to improve my sleep recently and initially thought this might help with the huge amount of north facing daylight I recieve. It's relatively easy to set up, putting it away is a lot more difficult. Unfortunately it did smell a little bit like wet dog and plastic, and it did drop a lot of black threads which ended up all over my bed clothes. It does an ok job of blocking out the light, you can still see the light source dimmed considerably through the fabric but you do feel completely cacooned inside. It does get hot but I bought a hangable fan to help with but then that made the tent sink down, it's not particularly stable I'd say. Ultimately I think there are better ways of blocking out the light, like using tension curtain rails and black out curtains.

Fantastic bed tent. Very spacious and well made. It’s been a year since we purchased and it’s still in excellent condition. Fits well on the bed. Has tons of openings that can be unzipped, either fully or to expose netting. Keeps the sleeping area nice and warm in the winter. Very clean design that has been well loved. Washed up well in the washing machine and was easy to reassemble.

Pros: Bedtime was always a fight but that is no longer the case. We’ve only had it a little over a week and my 8-year-old grandson loves it so far. No assembly required. It just sprang open once removed from the packaging. Cons: I would have preferred velcro closures over zippers & it took about 2 weeks to arrive, which is odd for Amazon.
